Eubank would pose more problems due to his mobility and handspeed but he wouldn't do as well as Roy Jones Jr. did vs him....it was very hard for Roy to land at first.

Calzaghe couldn't carry Toney's jock! First off there's not much on Joe's punches there are only a lot of punches which aren't straight, they are hooks, not many crosses or jabs and to beat Toney you have to throw straight quick shots and know how to box. Joe wouldn't stand and trade like Benn would but he wouldn't be moving all the time like Eubank either. I think Toney in his prime is one of the best fighters P4P of all time.

    haha

    Toney couldnt lace Joes gloves....

Sorry Mr Roach...obviously only your opinion matters, everyone bow down to this man, for he knows everything to know about boxing and his opinion is correct.

just cuz i think joe, eubank and benn would beat toney doesnt make me any more right as you saying that thery wouldnt

its just an opinion, doesnt mean you have to get all upset about it and getting into a hissy fit

No, you say that Toney couldn't lace Joe C.'s gloves. Which means he's not in the same class. Which implies that Joe would walk through Toney easily. If want to make a case that Calzaghe, Benn, or Eubank can beat Toney, fine, I'll hear what you have to say and I'd be happy to debate you, but if you imply that Toney isn't in the same class with those guys, you don't know at thing about boxing or you are trying to instigate.

So which is it? Are you just trying to instigate or do you know nothing about boxing

    Bilbo's like a magnet isn't he?

To imply Joe is in another league from Toney is borderline crimal.

Well I'm just trying to be rational about the whole situation and like clockwork the rabid Joe Calzaghe hooligan fans go apeshit crazy.

Yes Calzaghe is a good fighter BUT you can't look past what James Toney accomplished in his career. Toney fought tougher competition, he beat better fighters, and his defense pretty freaking good even today.

I dont see any point in talking about nowadays. They are multiple weightclasses apart. Toney cannot boil down and Joe wouldnt move up to heavyweight. I dont see how this "murder" could ever take place.

And with a Prime Toney its a pick em for me. I love these fighters and its an intriguing clash of styles. Joe would have problems for sure.

To get back to the topic. I wish Toney would just hurry up and line up another fight asap. I mean he came into the Rahman fight in allot better shape than he had in his previous fights and it only lasted 3 rounds. He should be able to fight again soon. Time really isn't on his side either. I know if I was the manager of Toney I would try and get him back in the ring as soon as I could. That rahman fight didn't really prove anything.
