    I woulda gone with Calderon
At least Pac is the top P4P fighter in the world who has a decent chance of pulling an upset.
I don't think anyone was serious

    but...

Calderon is also a top fighter & if Oscar could loses a limb or 2 & get down to say 130-135 I'd give Calderon a decent chance of pulling an upset.

In all seriousness, it kinda makes me sick with the power ODLH has, he is single handedly holding up the careers of two p4p fighters in Margarito and PAC with what he is doing. He should fight Winky Wright.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Now thats a great match-up & one that should happen. But it ain't going to generate anywhere near the sort of dough Oscar is looking for. Plus theres a high chance DLH loses & I'm sure that the Golden Boy wants to end his career with a win

I could talk all day about why i can't stand DLH. There are reasons that him and this fight are good and bad for boxing.

Now with that said i can't wait to see this fight. How many times have we wonder how PAC would handle bigger guys. Who knows he might look great. If he does it could set up other good mathc ups. I how he knocks DHL block off.

Can somebody tell me what weight this is suppose to be at.

They will weigh-in at 147 lbs. with PAC not really required to reach 147 (at weigh-in). PAC could come at 140 to 142 at weigh-in and maybe come in at 147 to 149 on fight night. That's the plan of Team Pacquiao.

They also talked about same day weigh-in. Hmnn, this is interesting...

Also Hoya will be penalized $750,000 for every pound he comes in overweight (I guess, Hoya can afford to pay $1.5M penalty).

Same day weigh in is a good idea for this fight... for the entire sport for that matter!

If PAC beats DLH then bring on PAC vs PBF. Then we can really see who is the best P4P fighter. I'm sure a PAC vs PBF fight should bring PBF out of retirement.

Farce fight Imo......I can not see Delahoya coming in at 147 at this stage and being long term effective but maybe we are quick to infere previous lightweights Forbes moments with speed and crisp punches on Oscar can be duplicated three times over by Pac also coming up in weight.Just a name affair in hype up here Imo.

Hoya does not probably want PAC to face Humberto Soto (another Mexican)...

Arum said that if Hoya-PAC can't be made, he will arrange a fight between PAC and Soto on November 1 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas...

I really don't see the point other than beating the No. 1 P4P there wouldn't be a title there at 147 or whatever they are going to weigh.

Oscar said it's personal... He felt betrayed by PAC in the past when PAC signed with GBP first then switched to Top Rank.
Pac is safe and wont hurt him.

When Pac Koed Morales, Mechant said "He just Got Bigger!!"

And Now it looks like a DLH fight is almost a sure fight to happen. It will happen and this will be the Changing of the guard as the Money Man of Boxing. DLH's making the Top Dollar for years. After Pac retires him, Pac will be the one commanding this top Dollars.

We thought it was PBF who will be the Money man after DLH. BUt he ran out of Opponents he thinks he can beat. So his money stops there.

Assuming Pac beats DLH which is not easy but I believe Pac will win. Pac's next fight after that will be the top money maker in Boxing. Here's my projected PPV buys on Pac's remaining fights for Greatness.

    Pac-DLH.... 2M PPV
Pac-Hatton....1.6M PPV(could be more if he KO DLH)
Pac-JMM......1.4M PPV(could be more if Pac KO Hatton)
Pac-PBF.....Will break all records. (Could be a trilogy) This will be like 2M X 3 PPV+MOre than 6M PPV buys.

If Pac still wants extra cash...
Pac vs Nate, Juan Diaz, Gamboa, Khan, or even Margarito(If he still on top which I doubt) is still a very Big Money Maker.

    Your thoughts
If Pac can handle De La Hoya then all this is possible. DREAM BIG!
