Have had a hearing problem since I was a kid, would enjoy a life without sound or the preception of sound in my head (never quite in there) and I have tried going without sight for a few weeks. Makes getting around a new place kinda hard, but not impossible.


Computers make it easier to comunicate with the out side world (touch typing) so not a problem there either.

Do not see a problem if I lost one or the other or both.

But thats just me.

You know in all seriousness it would barely make any difference to my life if I became deaf.

I don't listen to music, I don't watch tv, I don't like to talk to people.

If I was deaf the only change I can forsee is I wouldn't have to answer the phone to anyone any more and could ignore my mum when she tried to make conversation.

I'm trying to think of the negatives but it seems all good to me.
