My mom makes Shepards pie, it's one of the few foods from the south that I really really like.
I Switched up from Ground beef to Ground Turkey a while back. After a while,It was all the same. The thing with Beef is how much you drain out the grease.Used to just mix light cheesed Macaroni,Ground beef, chopped onions & diced Creole Tomato's. Good stuff!![]()

Amat, get yourself a general Betty Crocker cookbook. Trust me. you'll use it.
Put the left over un-used portion into individual zip locks for the next meal![]()

Cheese onion,and sliced potato
I feel really really stupid for asking that. Was one of the easiest things I've ever made, really.
There are thousands of things you can do with ground beef Amat ,
just tell me wot sort of food types you like and i will pass on the ways to cook them.
Oh piss off!!
You are right, just as Trainer Monkey is. Sheperds Pie is commonly associated with lamb in the UK but can be interchangeable with beef. Certainly says so on my little satchets that I did indeed ship here from the UK anyway.
I could do with some minced lamb actually. You cannot buy lamb here because the Koreans think its "smelly". I guess dog is a worthy substitute!![]()
Just be careful to defrost it first. 2 years ago my dumb@ss pulled some ground beef out the freezer and threw it right on the skillet which was already hot and the ice hit the oil and it popped off and I got 2nd degree burns on my wrist and my side. Luckily if healed but it took 2 years.
