Legion is that braille on the new cobra in your pic?

I know theres loads of blind people in India but thats real thoughtfull of nature to place that "Sorry your dead" sign on the snake.

That is an African Forest cobra; a typical specimen. Just the way it is marked up; as it lives predominantly in thick forest areas.

I'm looking to add one to my collection next year, almost bought a juvenile a while back, but someone else got it 1st.

They are probably about the worst of the cobras to deal with; very intelligent and will literally chase you across a room, not just hood up and strike, but actively pursue you. More mamba like in attitude than cobra like; and second only to the king cobra in size. They are also the species that is known to get the oldest in captivity; one is said to have been 32 years old and it came to captivity after it was an adult, so no telling how old it was.

I just want to get another area set up that is bigger; as I'm not going to have a 9 ft. Forest cobra in my snake room which is 10X14. The numbers just aren't in my favor

This one is for you Legion. I guess that you probably could tell us the kind a snake and gender it is just from one look at it.

Looks like they tried to make a toy cobra with the look of a banded egyptian, king cobra, Ashe's spitter and an Indian spectacled cobra; all with teeth from a lion
