I don't see Pacquiao-Soto as a big fight or even a fight where Pac can loose.

I think Pac will beat Soto very convincingly and one sided, I don't see Soto as a fighter who poses any type of threat to Pac.
Matter a fact if Pac gets going I actually think he can stop Soto.
But Pac has to be on, he can't have a Solis moment here where he slack off.
Not to mention Soto would be moving up in weight to fight Pac.

Haha personal because he beat Bobby, Manny couldn't fight long enough to avenge every ass whooping his brother has taken. It's funny they even have the same genes.

De La Hoya was the first one to claim the fight as "personal." Then Pac said it back probably becuase he lacks the knowledge of insults in english.

I can see him actually saying it and meaning it against Soto. After Soto knocked Bobby out, Manny was interviewed and said something along the lines of "he knocked out my brother, let's see if he can knock me out too."

I think a Pacquiao vs Soto match would be much better than people think. It would be an all out slugfest unless Pac decides to make the way he fought Diaz his new style.

Who ever did that needs to watch more of "La Zorrita" cause he is not Margarito.

Anyway this is the question that's been bugging me about soto. Do you know what "la zorrita" mean? Is it little zorro?

    Well not really.
It's kinda hard to explain. In spanish some words are defined as male/female in the last letter.
"O" is for male and "A" is for female.
In english fox is used for both in spanish Zorro is male Zorra is female.
    It's hard to explain....
I think in this case it would be necessary to ask him how the nickname came about.
For the most part peoples whos nicknames are Zorrita it has to do with them at one point or another having long hair. In a Fox Tail-like form I'm not sure if this is the case here.

So zorro is fox in spanish? Wow. I thought it's just the name of the mexican superhero.
Well i think based on your evplanation,it's more on being as "cunning like a fox" i guess.

I've read it from several boxing websites and forums. I think people saw some similarities between Soto and Margarito. Hugo Cazares also sometimes referred to as a mini-Margarito...

Imo soto for me still poses a threat to pac. He is not on the same caliber as solis is. I think soto can be regarded as a class-a fighter. That loss of soto to guz, though a wide ud, did not in anyway, put his credibility down for me. Soto is a punch-mixer who likes to give many variations of punches to the head and body. He also is very innovative sometimes, especially facing a not too special fighter.( i can recall he did a double lead right uppercut one time.) And no i would not say soto is like margarito in any terms. Soto is more technically sound than margarito i dare say, though margarito is a greater fighter in many aspects such as heart, durability, accuracy, fightplan and power. He also has a very orthodox stance while margarito comes forward to his foe on a more "fronting up" stance.

Anyways i can still see pac get through with a win on this one. Possibly a late round stoppage.

Soto's workrate has to be there and yes,he has to mix up attack and maintain it.I see him having to come forward attacking and Pac will be much faster and accurate when he is moving,Pac should hit that body big!Against a top notch mobile Guzman ,Soto looked at times to be baffled and was out thought and punched.By no means do I count this a certainy for Manny,Soto is very live and not a roll over but Pac can exploit many things and has more options,he should box smart. On the other hand,If Manny has too many Macho moments and sits down with Soto....its there for the taking

Yes, not to mention bobby pac, a d-class fighter, staggered soto once on their fight. I can't imagine if that was the pacman. But nevertheless i would say that soto is no pushover.

I think you missunderstood me by no means was I comparing Solis to Soto.
I said I hope Pac doesn't have a Solis moment here. Meaning Pac will try and cruise by and will not look good. That's what I meant by my comment.

Also unfortunately Pac is that much more of a fighter then Soto. Soto wont back down and that will be his dismay, Pacs got the power over him and if Soto decides to trade he's done.

I COMPLETELY and 100% disagree that Soto is an A-Class figther.
Sotos unfortunately not fought enough top level opposition to be considered A-Class caliber. At best I can say he's a B-Class fighter because he's fought Kelly (which was yrs. ago) and I had Kelly up by 2 points. I thought he won the Juarez fight by a point. The Guzman fight was all Guzman and tho Soto never gave up it's still a loss.
Sotos def. a live opponent and I think he will give it his all but aside from the Juarez win nothing there leads me to believe he can beat Pac.

I'll say the same thing I said before, Pac would have to fight a really bad fight to loose here. He's just much more superior then Soto.

Ok i stand corrected. For now on for me, soto is a b-class fighter. Thnx i think i need a little "head check" when i said he is an a-class fighter.
