Rankings: How to improve sanctioning bodies

1. Rank other organizations’ champions


2. Hold quarterly conference calls amongst each other to discuss rankings

3. Don’t strip so easily

4. Trim the sanction fees

5. Respect the authority of the presiding jurisdiction

The problem with rule number 1 is that there are to many organizations. Who gives a fukk about the WBO, IBO, WBU and other crap title holders?

what, you think the IBF and WBA are better?

Not by much, but they are. Dead guys don't move up in the rankings like they do in the WBO

just about every division has the main fighter we all call the best, then the ibf holder...

they non stop impose fucking pathetic unreal uncontested mandatories... an ibf belt holder can never unify and stay unified, it's not possible...

then you got the fucking WBA, who have had 3 for fuck sake ranked world champions at one time...

WBO have problems, they um, are less prestigious and have always seemed to be a frank warren and mexican paid belt.

I don't like ABC belts full stop, i even think the WBA is biased to fuck, but its the best of the worest

I am not about to defend the IBF, WBA or the WBC. Cuz there just about crap themselves. There no longer credible. But at one time they were. The WBO and the rest never have been

if it was a worth while belt, fair enough... but they only do it because no one would take it otherwise...

same reason they dont make the champion defend it... they just get paid for being a nothing belt...

only reason hatton took it... he has a belt so, agree or not he is a world champion so there for can make the big money, but no one is telling him who to fight...

most fighters worth their salt wont touch the belt...

I was strictly speaking to the article here of not ranking other fighters, the IBO is as I've a said before is like a side dish. "Would you like an IBO with that?"

Regardless of their reason you have to give them credit for ranking other sanctioning bodies champions, it's just them and the Ring.
