Agreed with Porky, Pepe was the worst, he use to stand in the middle of the ring as if he was going to fight Oliver McCall, arrogant twit. It was a blessing that Lewis got KO ed. Maybe Pepe knew what he was doing all along.![]()
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

I don't know if the following two would necessarily qualify as Worst Trainers
but just maybe,.. they fall under the category of 'Cursed Trainers.
Buddy Mc'Dirt and Eman Stewy. Man these two cats are just salty
I like both of these trainers but there is just something wrong, it's as though the fighters they are handling just don't listen to them.

Ive never seen corner work worse than Billy Grahams the guy was affraid to yell or even reaise his voice against Hatton.
Got Hatton in shape but tactically totally inept and Graham is one of the reason for the Hatton hug when he should have sat him down and said your not fighting Tszyu every night son.

I thought Atlas said the right things, but watching the fight in full, Moorer didn't really listen. In the rounds following his speeches, Moorer slept-walked again. I think Moorer was extra cautious because of the 2nd round KD, and knew how dangerous Holyfield could be when you hurt him.
Atlas is ridiculously overrated as a trainer. His track record isn't impressive. He gets this reputation as a great motivator, but I haven't seen it from his fighters. Moorer still slept-walked after Atlas begged him to fight harder.
Watching Moorer with Steward earlier, against Cooper, you saw him fight with heart and passion. Later on, in the Holyfield rematch, with Roach in the corner, Moorer fought his heart out. I didn't see this passion with Atlas.
Shannon Briggs basically fell apart with Atlas in the corner when he fought Darroll Wilson. It was with another trainer, when Briggs showed a ton of heart and desire when he lost to Lennox Lewis.
Aaron Snowell did a terrible job in Tokyo, but afterwards, he became a solid trainer. He trained Frankie Randall to his win over J.C. Chavez. He trained Julian Jackson to some title wins. He trained Tim Austin and had good success there.
Among former Mike Tyson trainers, it seems that Snowell gets the worst rap, while people always talk about how Tyson should've gotten back with Kevin Rooney (I agree, but it wasn't that Rooney was that good, it was just good chemistry), and Atlas gets too much credit for his one shining moment (which is overdramatized anyway).
Snowell has had the best success out of the 3, as he's done well with numerous fighters.
As to the subject, Oscar Suarez is pretty crappy.
R.I.P. Julius "Sho Nuff" Carry III
Snowell was crap right from the start, there's no reason Tyson should have fought that piss poor vs Bruno....that's when Tyson got the crap rocked out of him for the first time as a pro
