I agree, although Holt could be good.

The beauty of watching Augustus fight is that he makes fights entertaining, I agree that a fight with Holt would be good, but Augustus IMO is a level above.
Augustus is indeed a level above and perhaps I'm overrating Holts potential.

But I do think that Kendall can develop and become quite a good champion, although at the mo, Augustus would dominate him.

You are right on the point that I am considering current skill set, Holt does have the potential to improve, which would change the equation entirely.

Well on the other hand, by the time Holt reaches his full potential Augustus could (and probably should) be happily retired.

He just recently fought here in Aus (3 fights 3 wins). I recorded it 1 think. He danced the whole fight - it was very cool to watch.

Oh wow that sucks that he left Brownsville. I always used to see him running around training. It's funny in the gym he would have rap music and just start dancing to get in the mood and train. He trains like he fights dancing around to the beat of the song. Sucks that he left wish you luck bro.

I'me sure he'll be back there soon enough. He had a year off from fighting and he's probably just getting his eye in here. There's plenty more money to be made in the US.

I have to disagree completely with you guys, Holt would take Augustus to school at this point, as would Malinaggi. I think Torres would stop him. It's been well over a year since Augustus fought anyone substantial, if you consider Kid Diamond to have some substance.

I believe he's shot now.Yes a crazy style that would confuse inexpierenced fighters, but at the top I don't think he could beat anyone now at 140. After his fight with Raiymkulov I thought he'd retire.

Wasn't that a last minute thing for Augustus though? I remember handicapping that fight for the sports book and I had to pull the fight because of the last minute change.

True it was but after his showing it was just horrible. Augustus seems to me a guy who is always in the gym. I think if he wasn't in shape I don't think he would have fought.

I don't even like Holt but he'd stink it out and be way way too fast for this version of Augustus IMO. Maybe I'm overrating his shotness if that's a word.
