He went 10 with Lacy, but got blown out in 3 by Calzaghe.

Manfredo could have beaten Lacy but once Lacy started throwing power punches Manfredo was shitting himself.

Hell even Manfredo-Lee would be a decent fight to make soon (once Lee gets his shit together)

I'd like to see him fight Allan Green or Andre Ward to be honest
    Duddy's gunning for 154 now.

    Lee would destroy Peter.

I would agree, but who would have a thought that Lee would lose to Vera? Who knows what the KO did to his confidence. Lee had 3 inches on Vera, too. I know Duddy is gunning for 154, but at some point Manfredo/Duddy is going to happen a some point, even if it's a few years down the road. It will be a huge fight in New England. They both have big fan bases here and the Irish vs Italy angle always plays well.

Andy reckons that he wasn't fit....
Said he never felt right in that fight.
Could be ovrtraining or too many fights?

I've said Duddy Manfredo for a long time....It could be a very entertaining fight, but both would be best at 154.

I think Andy Lee needs some more weight on him being 6'2-6'3 and only being 160 and a SKINNY 160 at that can't help his power or stamina.

Manfredo is never going to see 154 again. Too many good Italian restaurants in Providence. We will see Duddy have a few bouts down at 154. Manfredo will do his thing - stay busy with club fighters - then in a year or two they'll meet at 160 for some the NABF or NABU or USBA MW title, probably at one of the CT casino's or at MSG. The fight will make money an the winner will get another big fight. The loser will be back to club fighter and gate keeping duty.

There is a chance that Duddy might be really good at 154 stick around there for a while, and that would put this fight off a while, because I can't ever see Manfredo going back down to 154 while he can still make living at 168 or 160 and not kill himself to make weight.
