De la Hoya should have fought Margarito....the fans want that more than De la Hoya-Pacquiao, the only guys wanting that are #1 The guys who think Oscar has nothing left and needs to go out with a win #2 The rabid Pacquiao fans #3 People who don't know any better.

    This fight is ridiculous

I must admit I wanted to see ODLH V Marg more than Pac but I will still pay for it if its PPV here in the UK (ODLH V Mayweather was not).

It happens allt he time with boxers who dominate and caused an impact in boxing and are about to retire. "...*groan* Oooooh he should have fought X...*groan* Oooooh he would have convinced me if he fought X...". You can never make the fans happy.

ODLH winning this one or not, the IMPACT he has done in boxing cannot be taken away, sorry.

Yes, DLH has done a lot for boxing (coddled from the beginning by the press, but nonetheless has still done a lot for boxing). That much is true.

But..... he STILL doesn't have the COJONES to face Margarito, just like he wouldn't have had the cojones to face Cotto had he won.
