Taylor vs Kessler

I think Taylor would try to outquick Kessler and he'd have big success early outboxing and moving vs Kessler but I think Kessler catches him late and Taylor gases out late because that fits the mold of all his toughest fights.


I want Taylor to do well though, he's a good boxer who is seen in a poor light because people think he got gifts vs Hopkins and maybe that's the case but he's done very well vs guys like Pavlik whom he has been the toughest test for. JT still has a lot of fight left in him and I hope he fights soon

in the Calzaghe fight. It was like he accepted defeat after a few rounds, went through the motions and fought only to make it to 12.

Well he certainly did not fight like he was trying for a knockout after round 4. He looked puzzled because Joe adjusted to his style, yet Mikkel fought the same way the whole fight.

I think Calzaghe on the form he showed against Kessler would pimp slap all from 160-175 with relative ease.

I also think Kessler showed enough against Mundine, Beyer and Andrade to show he is elite.

Kessler didn't have a plan B and he got schooled big time....he took some good shots and kept coming but he didn't seem to bother or even frustrate Calzaghe, Joe was never worried.


Kessler is a good fighter but I think he's the typical stiff European style and one of these days he's really going to look silly in the ring, especially if he keeps getting fat off these sorry ass mandatories then steps it up and fights someone worth a damn.
