I hope,hes gotta do it the way I say it, and thats hard because I dont have him at the gym. All boxers Ive found are you gotta go look for the whip. Thats why I hook up with him once a day, I need to know everything about how he's feeling.
A good sign, is he had a weight gain,this sounds bad at first,but let me explain,muscle weighs more then fat.In other words he's shaving off the crap weight,and bulking. We'll have to pull him back a bit so he makes weight,but this means he's doing the work

This whole scenario, to me, feels less like boxing and more like exploitation.

When it is time for a fighter to hang up the gloves, and they do not know any better due to pride or indifference, the people around them are expected to step up and do the right thing. They are the ones who should make the responsible decisions to protect the fighter and the sport.

Boxing is a brutal sport. It can be a dangerous game to play especially when those around you are not looking after you long term. That compassion is needed, to assist in making sure a fighter can have a productive life after he is done with the sport.

I like Andrew, but wonder who is going to help him if 5 years down the road he requires expensive and constant medical care. Is there anyone here who is going to stand up and say they will do it?

Ghost i normally agree with your points but i disagree with you this time i haven't exactly got alot of money since my dad passed away its me my girl my mom and few other family members money wise but we still manage and i don't know what RJJ has to do with this at all i don't agree with cockfighting or etc but i don't see what this has to do with this thread........

The fact is Andrew Hartley has no Amateur fights and he has just gone into the pro game with no experience or no skills and despite what SOB has said i don't believe for a second that Andrew Hartley has been training seriously at all and they have probably just learned him few basics and thats it but you need alot more than that especially in the pro game and all that keeps happening is him getting KO'ed and next time he gets KO'ed he may be seriously injured for life then tell me how he could earn money ?

I do Amateur boxing and i've had a few Amateur fights but before i was even allowed to fight i had to prove to my trainers i could handle myself and my trainers do actually care for my health where as these guys here like Trainer Monkey and this SOB are feeding Andrew Hartley alot of BS and thats the reason he won't try anything else to earn money or etc because people like this are brainwashing him..............

nothing Off Andrew and to get a guy to go a round or 2 is easy.

ever even sold a ticket.Sure he brings his family but I let them all
in for free .Andrew could say to me I don't wanna fight anymore
and I would say ok Buddy , Knowing all it would do would save me
a little money.If I did not think it would crush him I would just
tell him its over just to show you wanna be's were you stand in
your accuracy which is far far off !Andrew fights because
he wants to and the fight with Zelenoff I am sure will
go down as one of the greatest nights of his life.And to
act like I am gonna be responsible about his health care

Whether or not you place Andrew on a card as filler is irrelevant. If you cared about his well being or feelings you would not put him on in the first place. He'll be happier for it in a few years time trust me. Filler or not, if he helps complete a card, you are making money off of him. You can sit back and try to distance yourself from this charade all you want by claiming this is your own little charity work, but you damn well know nothing good is going to come from this long term.
