Williams needs to settle with Quintana first theyre 1/1 and the Quintana win by totally outboxing williams was far more impressive than the rematch win
Exactly how is Quintana's victory over Williams more impressive that Williams victory in the rematch?
In a bizarro world kind of way, call me looney but I can see it.Williams essentially had Quintana knocked out with the first long big shot he landed (not lucky, but timed and delivered well)......Carlos never recovered and Williams went in and took him out fast.Quintana had to sustain and think and fight through the entirity of 12 rounds while being in the same (In hindsight) danger zone.He really put on a clinic in the first fight....really controlled, out manuvered, out thought and was a top ring general repeatedly in there. He really exposed Williams Defensive liabilitys though unable to seriously hurt him.

Hey,nothing Impresses like a brutal blow out and it was hellacious, all respect to Williams but something had to be said about a 12 round boxing clinic.Do I think a rematch possibility has people clamoring for a ticket......no way.And Im also not sold that It would make a difference.....Williams knows he can walk right through Quintana when he sits down and is fully focused.....and now,Quintana knows it as well
It was not Quintana at all who exposed Williams, but in fact it was Walter Dario Matthysse who laid out the blue print drafts on how to beat Williams and Quintana just followed thru with it and made good. Williams corrected his mistakes and he knew exactly what he had to do in the second fight and that was just time Q and land bombs. Williams showed what a great finisher he knows he can be.

I think that Margrito should stay away from Williams i think Williams is all wrong for Margrito. He has size advantage, speed, reach, boxes better, throws more punches and he has a chin so no chance of him going down. What makes Margrito good is that he has the size advantage over people has a good chin and stamina. Paul takes alot of those away expect his chin but i think he still loses a decsion again i have not heard Margrito begging to fight Williams again and i do not blame the man.

Making adjustment,Name of the game bro.The day....and we may have seen it begin last outing....that Williams utilizes and implements all his physical gifts and fights his frame,He will be a brute Imo.I do think he lapses in the defense department and falls over himself, smothering great range=power but his hand speed is proven and chin solid.Seems to be maturing alot.Said it last night,I think he can walk into Jr. Middle and be a major permanent Title force,But the names/Dollars will call loudly from middle ??

I'm not saying what Quintana did was not impressive, but Williams coming back and blasting him out in less than a round in the rematch was exponentially more impressive. Beating someone in 1:30 (or whatever it was) is more impressive than beating someone in 36:00.

I hear what your saying bud.I like my knockouts as well but also like to see a guy out think, manuever and box a guy down the stretch who is trying his best to KO him.Speaking strictly for my self and at the risk of being LoL'ed on......sometimes KO's can be abit over rated Imo.This is not one,Williams went in bringing some hurt and danm near decapitated Quintana .Revenge was on his mind.

I'm the same way, I like a good KO, but I also love watching a good exhibition of boxing. Winky - Tito is one of my all time favorite fights.

I was very impressed by what Quintana did in the first fight, but I was dumbfounded by the 2nd one.

Wright's drubbing of Tito...good call...That was just brutal. With respect to awesome Tito...it was almost embarrassing. You just had a feeling that there was nothing he could do to change it either.Jab Clinic 101

I agree completely. Bad matchup for margo since he loses his size advantage.
