It's likely Khan will be able to pick between lightweight and junior welter and right now junior welter is a wasteland and will likely remain so for a while.

Khan won't be a million miles away from the likes of Kotelnick and Holt in a couple years.

Don't give up on him just yet, I'd still say he's practically certain to win at least one belt.

As someone said before if Cook, Arthuer and Rees can do it, so can Khan, especially with Frank Warren behind him.
I believe that was me

Shit you could write a very long list of fighters who shouldn't really be good enough to have held world titles.

Just in and around 130-140 you have Arthur, Cook, Witter, Rees, Kotelnik, Holt, M'Baye, Maussa, Harris, Urango.

Bit strong to say he has no chance when all of the above have managed it.
Exactly he has more talent than all of that lot, if he can work on his defense and if another couple years make him a bit more durable then he'll have a great chance.

His chin is his only real weakness imo, in every other category he competes with everybody pretty much.
He needs to learn to get those hands up when he is moving backwards thats one of the first things my trainer learnt me and he done it in a way so it would be a natural reaction and i wasn't allowed to move on until i got it right despite all these rumours of Amir Khan's new trainer learning him defense it doesn't look like Amir Khan has learnt anything so its either not been drummed into his head so it becomes natural or Amir Khan was overrating the defensive training regime he was under either way he has too learn it fast because thats been one of his big downfalls.
