Quartey way past his best and the decision was a terrible robbery. Forrest lost that fight. Baldomir never beat a good prime fighter other than an underprepared, smaller, and mentally weak Zab Judah. His two crowning moments were the Mosely fights, and well, Forrest just had his number and from a matchup pov was Shane's worst nightmare.
If Forrest had stayed healthy and focused, he could have achieved much more.
....i don't rate him any higher, he beat a guy he should have beat in the first place. If anyone benefit's from these two fights it should be mora, for beating him the first time and fighting him a second time when he said he would just ditch the belt and move on
Hidden Content Click clack ! Give up the purse.........or yetti will find you.
If Mora can continue to make 154, he should be able to grab another soup belt. He'll never be able to unify or be a p4p fighter. It's very hard to do that with punching power as limited as Mora's, unless you are defensively brilliant. There's no shame in that. He's decent fighter and he fought the fight of his life in the first Forrest match. He'll always be able to brag that he beat a guy who beat Shane Mosely twice.
It's an issue, he came in over weight at the weigh-in, which is something no one seen coming
Not many fighters this day and age even try to unify anymore, they are more concerned in making money rather than sit around in one division and have to pay numerous sanctioning fees. I don't think anyone here will argue that Sergio will never become a p4p fighter in any sense of the wordHe'll never be able to unify or be a p4p fighter.but the fact that he even won a major trinket was a shocker in itself
Vernon sure is being an ass about winning his belt back though. I would much rather keep my mouth shut rather than brag about beating Mora. Vernon will go down as the man who got beat by a complete no one.

It has always puzzled me that DLH has never shown any interest in fighting Forrest?
It's a fight I think Oscar could actually win as well.
Maybe he doesn't think Forrest will make him enough money, certainly no way near as much as a Mayweather, Pacquaio or Hatton.
Still it would be an interesting matchup though, although as a boxing spectacle and event it's lightyears behind Pacquaio.
Oscar and Manny is BY FAR the biggest boxing event that can be made right now in terms of ppv buys, media interest and historical significance.
It may be a farce in the eyes of the hardcore fans but there is no doubt that if Oscar ends his career with Pacquaio that fight would go down as 10 times more important in terms of boxing history.
Well i think Mora could be past making 154lbs now so i don't see him winning anymore titles not world titles anyway.
Forrest can unify 154. It's a weak division.
BTW Sergio Mora is a bum, always has been and always will be.
