Toney-Jones. At the time, Toney was probably my second favorite fighter. I didn't know who this kid was trash-talking my boy, but he was supposed to get murdered when they fought.
Lacy-Calzaghe. Lacy was just scissoring through guys and I was hyped for him to take on whoever this Calzaghe guy was. I'm just glad I was smart enough to keep my trap shut as I'd never seen Calzaghe before. I just sat in stunned silence as I wasn't even able to interpret anything Lacy did as winning any aspect of that fight.
Tyson-Douglas/Holyfield I. Tyson could be extremely lazy when he wanted to be and when faced with an opponent who was supposed to lose he didn't do the right thing in training camp. I suspect he did it many times and most times the other guy didn't rise to the occasion.
Lewis-Rahman I. Looking at Rahman now, can anyone believe he was ever able to beat Lennox?
Holyfield-Moorer I & Holyfield-Bowe III. 'Nuff said.
Diaz-Campbell. I thoroughly believed Juan Diaz was unbeatable in the lightweight division. It took a guy who had the intangibles in spades to show how wrong I was.
Anyone who fought Antonio Tarver except Glen Johnson.
Oops
James Toney, actually its hard to pick just one.
