Lennx Lewis in the 1st Rahman bout...Coming in to SA knowing there is a altitude difference for one and not coming in time to adjust..but more importantly...not training for the fight and opting to shoot a movie......

Just could not believe he was soo arrogant and ended up with an L to that bum to follow him throughout time

Although I thought Gonzalez clearly was ahead at the end of the fight, it was clear that neither guy was willing to put anything behind any punches. It was a very lackluster performance by two fighters that have amazing ability.
    Margarito vs Williams

Margarito had Williams timed the whole night, but spent more time using his defense and catching pitter patter punches that SCORE legitimate points on the scorecards.

    "cool click" heh Great thread.

James Toney vs Tiberi - Toney showed up in terrible condition and got one of the biggest gifts of all time.

Roy Jones/Tarver 3 - To me there is no shame in getting caught and KOd, it can happen to anyone. But there is shame in fighting just to survive like Roy did against Tarver in the 3rd fight. It broke my heart to see one of my favorite fighters, old as he may be, fight like a punk against a good but limited fighter in Tarver.
James Toney was rubbish in the Tiberi fight. I like Toney but he was outworked badly in that one and lost by atleast 5 rounds, this isn't the first time Toney underestimated an opponent and got a gift.

    Some semi recent ones:

Calderon vs Barrera (Ivan just wasn't at his best)

Campbell vs Peden 2 (He was pretty much dominating the 1st fight until that one stupid moment, but in the rematch Nate was just horrible)

Darchinyan vs Donaire (need I say more)

Julio Diaz vs Juan Diaz (He just didn't do what I thought he could do)

Martin Castillo vs fernando Montiel (Who thought Castillo was that far gone?)

Rafael Marquez vs Ricardo Vargas (A fight Rafa made harder than it should have been)

Katsidis vs Juan Diaz (Katsidis had no answers)

Guzman vs Joe Morales (Guzman got more than he bargined for)

Theres a heap more but those are some of the main ones of recent times!

Naz when he fought Barrera because if he hadn't fooooked about and trained hard like anyone would for there biggest fight he would have won he shouldn't have just relied on his power.

Being a big James Toney fan there is so many times that I have been ticked off at him for not coming into a fight in shape or the steriod issues or just taking someone to lightly. With all that he still remains in my top fighters list though.

Everytime Manfredo steps onto the world stage against world class...

Katsidis vs Diaz(all the credit to Diaz... Great strategy)

Gatti vs Mayweather(Gatti was clearly past it but Gatti fans are like redsox fans... Hope is always alive)

    Gatti vs Baldo(same thing)

Gatti vs Gomez(tore my heart out!)

Hopkins loss to JC(knew it was coming but his inactivity in the later rounds killed me cuz he could have done it.)

Steve Forbes vs Andre Berto(I knew what the outcome was going to be but Steve's output really diappointed me... He fights like he's a sparing partner)

    Margarito vs Williams(nuff said)

Roy Jones vs Tarver (every one)

Hopkins Taylor 1 and 2,you can make a case he won both fights, but he should have owned him
Ali-Holmes-He was so obviously spent in that fight
Cobb-Holmes-I still expected Holmes to win,but for some reason I allways liked Cobb, maybe its because he dropped so many hilarious one liners
Manfreddy-Mayweather-Andgel just couldnt find a way to close the reach gap
Ali-Wepner-Ali toyed with his food, and gave a club fighter a chance he really didnt deserve
Hilton -Oulette-I know he won it on a late KO,but he had him seriously hurt early and never pressed that advantage

That is mine as well; I just about cried watching that

I did in the rematch; tears of pure bliss

Had he trained hard and not drifted away from his original style he would have beaten Barrera and he could have achieved much more. OH WELL

Also I was very disappointed in Lewis/McCall I; though the rematch was great as there's no way I could feel as disappointed about Lewis from #1 as the McCall fans felt for him in #2

Poor guy had a meltdown of mammoth proportions
