pascal is better than Lacy but not better than taylor!
I'm not sure Pascal is better than Jeff Lacy. I'm not even sure he's better that Peter Manfredo. I would call Manfredo/Pascal an even money fight, leaning to Manfredo. Seriously. Don't believe FnF's hype of Pascal. I would favor Allen Green and Andre Dirrell over Pascal, easy.
Froch is going be beat Pascal, and he's going to beat him good, but please don't let is get your hopes up for when he faces some real competition. I think Froch actually believes his own mouth, and he's going be in for a rude awakening when at 31 or 32, he finally gets put in tough.

Cosign this one. The only true criteria that is indicative of a fighter winning a match against an opponent he hasn't yet faced is the level of his previous opposition. Who has Pascal fought? Lacy, on the other hand, has been in the ring with Calzaghe, Manfredo, and Mendoza. Obviously, he didn't look good against thoser boxers, but he eeked out slim victories against everyone but Calzaghe.
I'll tell you what, Manfredo gets more daps for signing up to fight Sakio Bika than Froch does for fighting Pascal.

I'm not saying Lacy is anything overly special at the moment (that opinion could change depending on the JT fight), but Pascal has done nothing that would indicate he's even in Lacy's class, let alone better than him. Based on accomplishments, which is all I can really go by, Lacy is miles ahead of Pascal.
