Agreed with mostly all of that except for one part, i think Bernard Hopkins makes everyone look bad. He even made RJJ look bad at times even though RJJ clearly won by 4 points.

I agree about RJJ's straight right hand lead that will be the key in the fight, Calzaghe got hit with alot of straight right hand leads against Reid, Woodhall, Hopkins etc.

I also think even though RJJ lays on the ropes too much, will be able to counter Calzaghe's wide shots. Which he did to good effect knocking down Anthony Hanshaw.

The only thing im worried about is RJJ 1 minute a round workrate, Hopkins could get away with it because he clinches and moves better now than RJJ does currently.

So thats the only thing that worries me but one thing i would like to see from RJJ, is more of a killer instinct. When he had Hanshaw, Tito, in trouble he let them both off the hook and toyed with them.

Against Calzaghe i don't want to see that nonsense if he gets Calzaghe hurt. I want to literally see him jump on Calzaghe like a raging tiger, with the same fire he had when he embarrassed Griffin in the rematch.

I just think Jones is to prideful and aware of his historical significance just to let this opportunity for redemption slip away from him.. Roy is feeling pretty confident and was more than willing to call out Calzaghe.. He dosent need the money but he does need his rep an I believe he will let it all hang out against Joe

He is my favorite fighter as well, but I don't see. I think Calzaghe is harder to hit now in some ways then he was in his prime, and Hopkins was able to use his right hand effectively against Tarver, while Roy remained gunshy. I think Tito likes a slow pace, and that suited Roy, but he really likes to wait until a fighter finishes up before doing his own thing. I think a guy with a high output like Calzaghe will be able to throw punches then get out of range before Roy can respond, or He will overwhelm Roy on the ropes.

I pray to god Roy wins, I mean this would make him shoot up the p4p ATG poll 20 spots in my roster. If he were to beat Winky, and Hopkins and Calzaghe he would be in my top 5 all time, but Roy doens't have Hopkins' defensive skills, he doesn't have any greater an output, and he may have lost his greatest edge. His overwhelming speed.

Hes still faster and crisper in the hands than Joe. Any fight now that usual Calzage output is gonna have to slow down because of father time. This might very well be the fight
