Pavlik Vs Hopkins Poll

I think it's funny how this board needs so many Pavlik/Hopkins threads; it's ridiculous watching the same people argue the same things over and over and none of it will change anything on fight night, lol.

Pavlik is going to have problems with Hopkins. Pavlik is my fave current fighter, and is one of my all time fave fighters as I just like his attitude and "I'm coming to beat your ass" mentality, but more highly skilled fighters than Pavlik have looked stupid trying to fight that old man. And something no one has done yet; and which I think will make this fight very close indeed, is go to Pavlik's body. Hopkins is going to crouch on those ropes and hold whenever possible but I'd be willing to bet they are going to target that long, thin core of Pavliks and if he goes down{which I think will happen as I've said a gazillion times in a gazillion other threads} it will be due to getting touched to that body. Pavlik is going to be standing right in front of this guy and I think Pavlik and his camp will have worked on avoiding that right hand upstairs in training camp; but I'm betting they aren't expecting Hopkins to work that body. At the least it will slow Pavlik down and give Hopkins more time to hug/hold/bore/get off the occasional shot, which is what he's good at. Hopkins will not in any way get into a movement game as eventually he'll get run down as we all know, so as usual he'll make it ugly but watch him target that body of Kelly's as he is weak there. Maybe I'm wrong; who cares, tell me I'm an idiot and I won't even care. Just another opinion

And even if Pavlik should ko Hopkins don't look for him to get any credit from it; people will just say that proves Hopkins is old and finished; which he may be, as 5 years ago I'd have definitively given this fight to Hopkins. Only thing it will show is that Joe couldn't do it and that's just because that old adage styles make fights. Joe will at the very least give Kelly fits, and probably beat him in a style possibly reminiscient of the beating Lacy took; though not to that degree.

I think Kelly will win but barely; same as everyone else, though it wouldn't shock me to see him lose. Yeah I'll cry like a baby if he does but that's life and Kelly will learn more from Hopkins than Hop will ever learn from him in this fight; take that to the bank. Why don't you guys stfu already We should just be happy we are having another great year of fights. The Calzaghe fans are as bad as Kelly's. Where are the Hopkins fans

im a huge hopkins fan though it may not seem like it because i like pavlik so much now. but Calzaghe fans and Pavlik fans will never get along. and screw u markusdarkus queer

Well I stopped liking Hopkins when he disrepsected PR, The guy gets away with murder. But come Oct18th he will be put in line.
