Don King set to offer Lewis £25 MILLION to face Vitali

Vitali should just let it rest and be man enough to say i lost to the best heavyweight in the world.Why does he want to fight a 43 year old Lewis that has been retired for 5 years?

To be fair, I don't think Vitali even mentioned Lewis this time, it's the usual "Lennox out of retirmenT" story that follows every heavyweight fight.

I would rather Vitali fight Valuev at this point....#1 it would be the two biggest guys fighting for the championship in the history of boxing and #2 Lewis has been out of boxing a lot longer than Vitali and it would bring more confusion to the division if Lewis was able to win because what would he do after that He could fight Wlad but I doubt that would happen. the size of this offer worries me...Lewis could come back for this amount

not sure how much money he has but this is serious dough, and as said before when does the 'fuck the legacy' attitude hit home with Lennox

he has kids now right ?? that chunk alone would set one up for life

if he did come back I think Klitschko would humiliate him, maybe not KO him but we could see him retiring on his stool or something like that - not the way you want your last memory to be (still pains me when I think about how Benn went out) but for 25 million.......

Yes Lennox struggled a bit last time with Vitali but lets not forget Lennox took the fight with Vitali at a weeks notice he was training to fight Kirk Johnson who pulled out with a chest injury. Vitali was going to fight on the undercard he was number 1 contender for the WBC and Lennox decided to fight him had Lennox been training to fight Vitali he would have handled him a lot easier.

I think Lennox made around £100m from the sport but £25m could tempt him i hope doesn't as i have said loads of times but you couldn't blame him for £25m.

You make a fair point about their previous fight. But i can't see why you, and the others are all saying i think this will happen, i think lennox will get seriously hurt or vitali will get beat...

NO ONE knows what lennox is like know FACT. We have seen Vitali, but there is no one of knowing what speed, stamina agility etc he has. unless u see some good recent sparring vids or a fight you can not call a fight.

Lewis got lucky the first fight. Vitali was kicking his ass before the eye got cut in the 3rd round. Lewis won on a technicality, he was losing the fight. If Vitali didn't get cut i'm damn sure he would have blown out lewis in 12.

I won't disagree that if Vitali was not cut he would of had a better chance but he did get his face so badly cut he could not continue. Lewis won fair and square. Vitali got respect from me in that fight for wanting to carry on I must add.

IF, Lewis did come back which I dont think he will, he will not be anywhwere near as good as he use to be with inactivity and him not training anymore like he use to. We are kidding ourseleves if we ever believe that Lewis will be anything more than the standard issue heavyweight thats around now.

Lewis doesnt need anymore money, hes got enough and its not even worth the risk of his life in the ring IMO.

Vitali from what I have heard wasnt anything like his former self, the fight will be so hyped that when it does happen it will be nothing what anybody actually expected. Its just simple knowledge that both men are not like they were in their 'younger' days.

In saying that both men werent at their youngest so I just dont see the point in this fight really.

I will be a lot more interested in Vitali-Haye to be honest.

It is just to create some hype...There are no real fights out there for Vitaly that would create interest...The Valuev fight would be more of a freak show.......The Peter fight was the biggest draw there was for him....

Lennox is not coming back no reason to..nothing to prove and he certainly does not need the money

Lennox said before that he was offered more than that for a fight about 2 years ago and said he's not interested. He's got a family now and is financially secure and has a regular job with HBO.

He beat Klitschko when he was 38 and in the worst shape of his career - he has nothing to prove.
