Nah... I'll watch it on TV... Every seat is a good seat at the Dunk though... You can buy "shitty" tickets and the ring is still like "right there"... I went to the Pemberton and Spina fights... Well I was still living in RI then so it was easier... I have a 46" LCD... I think I'll just watch it on VersusHD rather then go all the way down.

I'm a fan of Manfredo, but I doubt he'll beat Bika. In fact, I think it is a pretty gutsy fight for Manfredo to take. Manfredo may be a better boxer than Bika, but not by much, and Manfredo tends to tire in later rounds. Manfredo will land more punches than Bika in the beginning while Bika lands more powerful punches. Manfredo will slow toward the end and Bika will take advantage.
I took Bika to win for two reasons
1) Manfredo's stamina, I don't think Peter will be able to get to Bika early which he needs to do to be effective in this fight.
2) Bika can be as dirty a fighter as they come, I think this will frustrate Peter and will lull him into fighting at Bika's tempo.
Peter is a pretty tough guy though, so I don't see a stoppage. I think the first half of this fight should be entertaining and close, the second half being lopsided for Bika. I'm rooting for Manfredo to get a win here though.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Sorry Pride, gotta go with Bika by decision.
Stamina, stamina, stamina. Will Peter have any?
I know he fights better at home, but a completely shot Pemberton, and a never really was that good Spina, are a different story than Bika.
I guess you changed you mind on going, because I remember when the fight was first announced, you told me that you were going to go. Is it because it's on a Thursday night, and you don't want to drive there on a work night?
Bika's physicality and ruggedness could really take Manfredo out of his game.Manfredo has the ability to box but will have to keep Bika off.I'm actually going with Manfredo to rise to the occasion ,maintain pace and take a close decision ?
Ahh, my love... Will he have an stamina...I damn well hope so. Thats why Mora convincingly took the first fight... Thats why he lost against Lacy(and cuz I thing when he was knocked down(although not hurt) It scared the shit out of him
).
You are right that Pemberton was beyond shot ans Spina was just a record and a live body, sure...
I just know that he'll do his best work in front of the Italian faithful... A mile from the hill? He'll just wanna beat Bika so right after he can grab a "Godfather" sandwich from ROMA gourmet late night.

Suprised so many people are giving Peter Manfredo a chance, no offense POB but Sakio Bika has only really lost once convincingly. To Lucian Bute who is tall and fights on the outside, other than that Sakio Bika has so far always done well against some of the top Super Middleweights, where as Peter Manfredo has never done well against any top opposition at Middleweight or Super Middleweight.
I think Peter Manfredo will get outhustled here, Sakio Bika although his punching technique could do with some work. Is still very strong physically and he has a solid chin, i think Sakio Bika will be too much for Peter Manfredo. And i can see Sakio Bika stopping Peter Manfredo late on or winning a comfortable UD.

Pride if it makes you feel better, I actually hope that Manfredo will win and make you happy.

i think it will be a split decision for bika. oh and never mind booze i thought it would make it to 20k but still close.
Ahhh, mah man... Of course you know I'm gonna support my man. All your points are well seated and as much as I think you're right(cuz you are) how many times have you watched peter fight anywhere in New England...) My point really is that he's a different fighter when he fight at home(sad really).
It will be a better fight then people think... Peter opens up in front of the home crowd(maybe not good against a moose like Bike)![]()
