Haye would have beaten Peter and Vitali

Like others I'm left wondering if klitschko was that good or Peter was that bad.

Peter was dreadfully slow while Klitschko used his height effectively.

Peter hasn't looked good for a few fights now - he didn't impress against McCline or Toney. He looked like a fighter who just turned up without any real ambition or desire.

Maybe you didn't see the second fight against Toney where Peter used effective defense and managed to knock Toney down. And you should be considering why McCline suddenly became an all-out aggressive fighter when he was only that briefly at the beginning of his career.

Klitschko looked good but his hands are awfully low and against a powerful, fast fighter he would have got caught.

Klitschko's hands were low because he had no reason to keep them up.

The trouble is that there aren't that many powerful, fast Heavyweights apart from David Haye.

Yet again, making Haye the crowned king in a division he's yet to show any dominance in whatsoever.

Haye would have ruined both of these guys. Klitschko looks like he can't fight at a fast pace and Haye would make him work and counter with quick accurate bombs.

You'd have a point if either guy fought as Cruiserweights.

Klitschko is not the man he once was but he did look good against Peter but then Peter was fighting in a trance.

Klitschko has just had a fight after a 4 year lay-off. Let's say we reserve judgment until after he's had at least one more fight.

Haye has all the skills, reflexes, power and movement to have beaten both last night.

Peter is rapidly approaching my garbage pile. That being said, I have no confidence that Haye could beat him. He has a head like a rock and if you give up your height to Peter he will eat you alive. Haye has a wider stance than Senator Larry Craig in a men's room.

Toney is not exactly the most mobile of Heavyweights but ok a decent performance by Sam. As for McCline not to sure of your point but McCline looked good because Peters head wasn't in the fight just like Saturday. At the time it is well documented and I have posted the article regarding Sams out of the ring problems in his native Nigeria - the allegations of him beating his pregnant wife and her then attempting to kill him with the help of her relatives but I'm sure that is what you are pointing to?

I agree that one fight is too early too judge though it is still plausible too have an opinion after one fight but as I have alluded too it is hard to gage just how good the comebacking Vitali is especially as Peter was for want of a better word...shit.

I stick by my opinions of Hayes ability and that he will beat every Heavyweight out there. That is my personal believe based on his skills and ability though only time will see if I am right or wrong and not knowing is why we all tune in.

For a fat old man, Toney is very mobile. He probably is the most elusive of any heavyweight. That's why he hasn't been laughed out of the division; guys have a hard time hitting him. Sam connected more than anyone else has against Toney in their second fight.

I didn't know about any of those issues in Peter's personal life, but I'd wager once they're over and done with he'll be better in the ring. What I was referring to is what McCline was asked just before fighting Peter- the banned substances McCline was alleged to have had delivered to his home. The McCline who fought Sam Peter would have given any heavyweight trouble which is puzzling considering he's usually a passive fighter who seems intimidated by most of his opponents. I've never seen that type of aggression out of McCline, but to say Peter's head wasn't in the game- he recovered from 3 knock downs and dominated the rest of the fight. If his head wasn't in it, he certainly got it back in.

I have no doubt of Haye's ability, but that's at Cruiserweight. I have yet to see those abilities translate to the heavyweight division.
