I apologize for the thread title, it should be: "rate this fighters from best to worst from this selection" or something like that, so my apologies icb.
It's ok if there is no pbf coz he is retired anyways..
Well Julio Cesar Chavez Jr's opposition has been very weak, and he has already gotten 2 gift decisions against mediocre opponents. His record looks good but if you actually look closely your see, its a very inflated record.

Which is fine considering he had no Amateur background but its about time he stepped up, but saying that he made a small step up in competition in his last fight. And look what happened there, he will never be elite IMO. Atleast when his father was fighting mediocre opposition, he beat them in good fashion.

He he. Someone told me at another site that he might face an opponent who would fire back by the time he is already 60-0.
Yes, he is not that as special as his father. I remember him being booed and thrown with papers (?) at his last fight.
And to think his father wants his son to fight hoya instead of pac. But he has'nt really proved anything yet...

Well he is fighting Matt Vanda again so lets see if he can make adjustments, and put on a better show this time. If he can't beat someone like Matt Vanda in impressive fashion this time, he might aswell not even bother even thinking about the elite names.

The only good thing for him is that the Jr Middleweight division, is one of the weakest division's in boxing at the moment. so theres a chance for him to pick up a belt, if Sergio Mora can then im sure JCC Jr has a chance aswell.

Mora would beat Chavez Jr like a redheaded stepchild. Vanda isn't much better than the guys Stacey Goodson promotes. He got a gift decision against club fighter Troy Lowry, and the judges completely robbed him against Yory Boy. Anthony Bonsante pretty much schooled him. Demers made him look like an amateur. And Jr. scrapped by with an SD.

That Chavez Jr struggled with Vanda is proof in the pudding that Jr doesn't have the goods. I would favor Stevie Forbes over him. Even if he wins clear UD over Vanda, it doesn't mean much. Jr. will lose to any LMW in the top 25.

Personally, I think he should fight Ricardo Mayorga.
