What happens to his p4p ranking? Hopkins is currently right behind Calzaghe on the Ring Magazine list.
Would it put Pavlik above Calzaghe?
Right below Calzaghe?
Does it matter if Pavlik dominates?

The P4P rankings are silly IMO. There is no way Calzaghe should be that high in the top 10 and why is Pavlik and Hopkins even on the list? Margarito should not be there yet and Williams should not be there either.
There are so many smaller guys with more talent than all of them and they should be the ones occupying the lists more than anything.
Most of the lists do not have Christian Mijares in them for example. The guy is a small methodical, extremely talented monster.
I would put Calzaghe number 4 right now and id have Hopkins number 9, but this p4p list is totally opiniated hard to be right or wrong. My top ten looks a bit like this:
1. Pacman
2. JJM
3. Vasquez
4. Calzaghe
5. Raf Marquez
6. Margarito
7. Pavlik
8. Mijares
9. Hopkins
10. Williams
Ring Magazine has the top of the p4p list as: Pacman, Marquez, Calzaghe, Bhop, Vasquez, Margarito, Pavlik.
You agree on that list Pavlik should move up to #4? or a number 3?
You do acknowledge that Pavlik is jumping up a weight class and a half to fight Bernard. If he beats Bernard he'll get lhw straps.
If Pavlik beats Hopkins by Ko he should jump Calzaghe who won a split.

I think if Pavlik could stop Hopkins he would be 1 spot behind, maybe in front of Calzaghe.
if kelly wins he could get 3rd. since nobody has never kod bhop before
Right now I'd put Pac 1st, Marquez 2nd, Calzaghe 3rd. Pavlik is somwhere just below that. He does not jump into the Top 3 by beating Hopkins, even by KO.
