Pavlik wasn't at all discrediting Hopkins. He said "it wasn't his craftiness" (that made him lose) but infact all in himself. You somehow took that as him insulting Hopkins? If you look later on in the video he stuttered saying "he beat me" to flat out saying "he (Hopkins) whooped my butt."
Trust me, Pavlik was taken to school, and he definitely learned a lesson.
If Pavlik fans are known as "dickhead" fans I could only imagine the adjective that is used to describe the Calzaghe fanatics...
Bruno already said "classic" but it is exactly that...

No big deal, he is a bit concussed. He did not give an interview on Top Rank so was interested in what he said. He is a poor technical boxer who trains and hits hard.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Takes time to get over a lose like that still young we while see. I like Pavlik but man does he have some work to do i feel Pavlik whiel come back better then Cotto who i think is done but could be wrong about it. I think Pavlik can still run on and be teh man at mw as for Cotto think he may turn out like Vargas but lets see how it goes on the comeback fights.

I gotta say that he really didn't look right in there. I rewatched the Miranda and 1st Taylor fights yesterday and that just wasn't the same guy in there. And it's not just because of the shots he was taking, Taylor was hitting him with great shots but he just kept coming forward and throwing shots. It was a strange performance.

This fight wasn't even close in any way at all! Pavlik landed nothing in 12 rounds and was completely schooled by Hopkins, if he thinks for a second Hopkins isn't any good or isn't crafty then Pavlik took some harder shots than i thought in this fight. It was damn near a shut out on my scorecard.
Get back to Middleweight Kelly, challenge Abraham and get your career back on track and don't talk any more shit!!
Bhop boxed, bhop took more chances, finally we see Bhop fight. It has been a long time since we have seen Bhop just bring it. He looked fresh all night long. I would love to see Bhop Calzaghe 2. I think this version of Bhop would give Calzaghe a much better run for his money.

You see thats it, I think he felt He had to initiate and under no circumstances let Pavlik get going.A case in point that watching a great boxer/tactician in action over 12 is just as nice as seeing a big KO,well Imo.All he was missing was a pointer and an over head projector in there.A clinic.Joe should focus on Jones,Should he win who knows but honestly,I'm not keen on a rematch. One that was mentioned was Hopkins/Dawson....that has me with raised eyebrow's.

one that would never happen, hopkins is smart. He wants big money, not to ruin up and comers. Another huge win for dawson would put him in serious money contention but who else could dawson possibly beat that makes people want to see him and nard.
As it stands now, he's just a young guy with skill but he's not a draw.

Talk about the ultimate crossroads.Hopkins can be as cunning a businessman as he is a fighter and although stellar Saturday night,he is looking for a short term big bank exit within at least a year Imo.As a fan, I hope anyway.Pretty much rides On Calzaghe/Jones.Should Jones pull it off vs. Calzaghe....he and Hopkins logically and monetarily could do nice numbers and generate huge fan interest in the rematch??
Agree on Dawson.I was impressed vs.Tarver and he is finding his own but who does he fight in the interim as the dust settles....Rematch with Johnson..??..I think Johnson is due for it but not sure Dawson & camp would see the Cents in it.Good question. They will bring someone he can look impressive against but I do think stylistically,Hop's and Dawson would be a nice go.Shite,as stubborn as Hopkins is,I doubt he will retire soon anyway.
