Actually most of the outspoken Calzaghe haters, TysonBruno, Dark Lord Al, ICB and LeftyLee are all British.

We are a country of patriots
I ain't no Joe Calzaghe hater i just question his record when the topic is brought up, but i have gave him credit many times. Secondly whether a fighter is from the UK or isn't doesn't really matter to me, i either like a fighter or i don't and i don't care where a fighter comes from.

For example i wanted Floyd Mayweather Jr to thrash Ricky Hatton, because i prefer Floyd Mayweather's slick style more than Ricky Hatton's messy hugging brawling style. And i wanted Evander Holyfield to beat Lennox Lewis, because Evander Holyfield got me into boxing, and i liked his exciting style much more Lennox Lewis's jab-fest safety first boring style.
Same thing here really. I like a fighter, and thats it. I couldnt care less where they are from. If there is something about their style or even character that I find interesting then that is what gets me into a fighter. Calzaghe is one of my fighters, but James Toney is the other fighter I follow most avidly. Haye is British but I cannot stand the guy.
