The shit ref ruined a great fight.

Rest assured the celebrating after the fight was going on in Andrade's camp. They come out of this fight with the momentum that no referee can interfere with. No official "decision" will bring them down. They know the real deal.

I guarantee Bute's camp are not doing any celebrating.

Bute was in no position to carry on. 1 punch was all that would have been needed.

If a fighter can't continue then the ref must stop the fight regardless of rounds or seconds left.

A bad call from the ref on this one

Well if we're gonna talk rules how about we discuss the fact that a ref should stop the fight if a fighter is unable to defend themselves, which is clearly the state Bute was in.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Two awful and contrasting examples of this in recent weeks. Mosley didnt go to his corner against Mayorga. And in this case Andrade was miles over the other side of the ring. Definitely in his corner. That count shouldnt have been stopped, and Bute is one lucky bastard.

I find it funny how Wright himself acknowledges in the clip that Bute was out on his feet - way before the knockdown.

I highly doubt that Bute will want anything to do with Andrade after this...
I think Andrade should move on, he doesn't need the IBF strap or Bute.
He's got the people behind him and that will carry over...

I really doubt they would want to fight him again and honestly I don't think Bute would make it all the way. I feel that Andrade would come in knowing that he can catch up to him if he applies the pressure and little by little Andrade would chip away at him.

    Are you kidding me?
Andrade was literally about 3-4 feet standing to his left of the corner but he was waaaay across the otherside.
There's nothing the bitch ass ref. can say that justifies it.

“It was outrageous,” Andrade, now 27-2 (21), said of Wright’s count, which he believed the referee needlessly interrupted. I didn’t come out of the corner. [Bute] was completely out.

“His eyes are gone. I know I won this fight.”

“I didn’t come here to win a decision. I came to knock him out, and I did.”

Andrade says it all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WON CHAMP GREAT WORK

I was watching the fight casually with no stake in either fighter. I actually had the sound off, but when I saw Buke get hurt I scrambled to the remote control. There is no doubt that Buke was out on his feet. I went back and watched it again and was amazed at the referee bias throughout the fight. This is either the worst referee ever or a referee that was bought and paid for! I can never root for Buke after this. I don't anticapate this problem when I watch UFC tonight. FIXED!

Fighter cannot be saved by the bell in the 12th and final round, that is the rule.
This is why if you watch the fight, even though the fight is over (on the clock), they don't ring the final bell until after the ref says wether or not Bute can continue. They were awaiting a verdict.

Bute was clearly out and the fight should have been stopped. So I won't only dispute the long count, but I'll dispute that the only reason the referee DIDN'T wave the fight as a KO for Andrade is because he knew there was no time left, and by saying Bute was able to continue, he'd win. It's bull shit

Very sad...andrade clearly won the fight, even my youngest son asked why the ref wasn't counting. Ok so you want to rip andrade, at least save the guy from having to take unecessary punches as soon as the opening bell rang even before the dancin skanks can climb down off thier little stools count to 10 and call andrade out by KO. Save us all the time. If you're gonna cheat so blatantly own it ......say fuck andrade hand him his check and send him back on the plane. Insulting all of us with this WWE scripted type match was b.s. Instead of ronald (who did well by the way) holding friday night bible study during the ringwalk it would have been more fitting to have mayweather/big show 2 last night for the undercard, if nothing else to at least keep with the theme of the main event....ok i'm high ( yea yea no surprise i know) and the wife is on my ass for stoping by a hotel on the way home just to use thier free internet in lobby..so i'm grabbing some also free coffee and doughnuts and will see yall monday ! But i just has to comment on this garbage they called a fair fight last night.

    Two things...

You will NEVER see Bute fight in a location where they can't make everything perfect for his victory (i.e ref, crowd and everything in his favor).

If he DARES to challenge any other champion or top 10 boxer, he will lose by KO.

That's all I have to say, because it is now obvious why this guy fought 75% of his fights in one place.

What an embarrassment. As Farhood said on the broadcast, "This was an amateurish move during a professional championship fight."

I've been a fan of Andrade since he fought Kessler. It's a shame that a guy subjects himself to all he did against Bute just so a BS referee can take the W out of his hands.

Marlon B. Wright He is no REf. Just like he was not a boxer, wonder if he got a little kick back on the fight. Maybe he was schooled by Joe Cortez.
