Joe's windmill slaps weren't exactly pleasing either.

He had to fight like that just to get off. hopkins was leading with his head and if you anything about fighting then you know that you commiting to hard punches against a guy leading with his head could get you hurt badly and cut and everything else.

Calzaghe hasn't committed to punching for a long time, that had nothing to do with Hopkins style.
