I don't won't to gloat but Mick as I said on one of the other threads 'that is why they fight the fights'. Thinking someone will win & actually doing it is 2 completely different things!!!

Not at all Galaxy I think we've established our good talks with time.

Gloating from you, Bilbo, Snakey, bikersk I can take. It's the "bandwagon" people who are annoying as they jump on once the fights won.

A really stellar win for Vic, I can't like him because of his attitude.
And the whole I wasn't KO'd interview he did after the Nonito fight.
That shit just made me dislike...

All in all Vic won and he deserves it for going in there and applying his plan from the go. He established himself there and just went to work.

Mijares fought the wrong fight and he just never applied his plan. Instead he fell in the trading shots game which isn't his thing and paid the price.

Cheers CutMeMick. Absolutely. He may have underestimated Vic, who knows.

My gloating isnt meant to rub salt into your wounds, its to the idiots who hate on darchinyans style because of his attitude. Hes like anthony mundine to me, i love his work inside the ring. I dont like his attitude out of it. So i want you all to know, i hope mijares comes back and shows the kind of fighter he is, it wasnt his night and vic was on his game. To mick and all the other guys, bad luck. To the wankers who just hate on vic for the sake of it and the sake of fitting in with everyone else, how do you like those apples

Awesome stuff Mick, very classy. We've all been on the other side of the fence before... look at what Donaire did to Vic!

Yes he does. Once again must give credit where it is due, as once again my horse pulls up lame. He fought a great fight.

i give vic credit for taking mijares out of his game tonight. that said, a lot of vic fans here make it out as if vic put up a boxing clinic. he was his same old self. he didnt do anything special tonight. it was mijares coming in overconfident and cocky to begin with. he didnt take vic seriously and didnt have a plan B in this fight. thats why he got ktfo. to whoever said that vic had great footwork must be holding vic's balls with both hands. if mijares had arces power, those few shots vic took would have sent him to la la land again.

No way that was the same Darchinyan watch him versus Donaire and then here, much better fighter now and he isn't squared up all the time. That being said, Mijares obviously didn't think much of Vic and had no plan B when he found out that he couldn't counter inside. He was reacting to that every jab, leaning inside and that took him about of position to counter and he did it alll night and that's why he became a target for the chopping right and uppercut.

Yeah he deserves credit. Beating Mijares is a great accomplishment. But Mijares was never the best Super Flyweight out there. It's always been Fernando Montiel. Montiel beats both Vic and Donaire. As well as Mijares and Arce

Arum/TopRank planning to have Montiel or Arce for Donaire next... Vic may not like this idea since he's itching to avenge his humiliating loss to Donaire...

    .
vic will still get koed by donaire. donaire is never a cocky guy. he always respects his opponents and never underestimates his opponents. vic is always open for a counter hook as he tries to throw that signature left. btw arce is not as good as he once was. he struggled a bit last night against a relatively unknown fighter.
