Check this out, it was told to me by Muslim Priest, When Muhamad was in the Desert, needing water and was near to Death a Hog past by and told Muhamed to follow Him. Muhamed Did and the Hog led Him to water and saved His life, from then the Pig became a Holy animal. Thats what I was told, interesting.

I could never be a Muslim. I couldn't be part of any religion that would attempt to restrict my diet. Similarly Judaism is out of the question for me because I eat a lot of shellfish.
