If this true, then it sure seems like they're throwing Concepion to the wolves. If his handlers think he has a real future as a champ, then they wouldn't throw him in with Lopez right now. They'd give him time to develop.

Yeah, you'd have to think so as it is... I honestly haven't seen Conceptiono so don't know what kind of a matchup this is..... As of now I feel sorry for anyone getting in the ring with Lopez, though I would love to see an upset.

Concepcion is 27-1-1 while JuanMa is 23-0-0. Concepcion has been around the world boxing in China, USA, Mexico and Philippines for almost 5 years now. He's been tested in many tough fights tho the quality of opposition favors JuanMa. He's the no. 3 contender to JuanMa's crown.

Concepcion is the underdog here but this is not a mismatch everybody is worried about. Concepcion rightfully earned this shot at JuanMa.
