So what time does this fight actually start then?Does anyone really know??
I dont know but when theres a big fight in Las Vegas its always 4am for the main event but New York is on the other side of America but itll probably still be 4am as the Americans would want it prime time tv.![]()
Thats another thing, can the Americans answer honest and regardless of whether or not they like him.
Is Joe Calzaghe a draw on American tv?
I know Roy wasnt, in fact I think the first fight I saw of his televised over hear was against Bryant Brannon and that was on the low key Euro sport, the big channels like ITV, BBC, Sky sports didnt want to know until much later.
I remember watching his fight with Mike McCallum, not sure if it was live or not though.
Can these Two, together now bring a big audience in?
I need to know this too, I've a hot date Sat night so need to work that round the fight!!
It's usually 4 am for us when in Vegas but this time it's in NY so should be earlier. I had figured around 1am...
What's the diffence between Eastern and Pacific time? Anyone?...
no one uses that term in America besides referring to the New York Yankees.. the only time i hear, he's a "yankee" is in reference to a baseball player.. "the yanks lost last night".. besides that i'd probably consider it a derogatory term, sort of like if someone called me a WOP for being Italian.. but in all fairness, it's easy to call someone from england a brit, just one syllable, but if you had to say "american" everytime that would get annoying.. yank works for me..
I don't know where he gets off saying British fighters are better than American fighters now...how would he know he's only been in America for 1 fight.
