Don't f**king tell me what my people think and then have the nerve to neg rep me because you have some idiot sources! I don't have sources I AM THE SOURCE!! You say mexican people are still bitter because DLH beat chavez? Yeah so it makes alot of sense that they root for "mexicutioner" pac who beat a Barrera, Morales, and rob a Marquez. Btw who was rooting for Oscar when he fought Trinidad?.... baboso no sabes de lo que hablas mama bicho.
Calm down PurtyBoy... Why are you so mad learning MANY Mexicans are supporting Pacquiao?

Here's another one from PAC's "idiot" promoter Bob Arum:

"Tuesday morning Manila Time, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, in an overseas telephone conversation with Inside Sports|, Standard Today and Viva Sports said “all the Mexicans want to help Pacquiao. They want to walk him into the ring.”

Arum mentioned WBC Continental Americas light middleweight champion Chavez Jr, WBO welterweight champion Antonio Margarito, Mexican legend Erik “El Terrible” Morales and WBA super flyweight interim champion Jorge “Travieso” Arce among others.

Simply put, Arum said “the Mexicans love Pacquiao” because he was like Mexican fighters, a warrior, adding that “Pacquiao is more popular in Mexico than De La Hoya.”

Im not mad, just annoyed... You ask why? For the exact same reason here.. Bro use some knowledge pleeease.. You mention that Margarito, Morales, Chavez Jr want to walk out Pac. We go back to the start.. Ofcourse Chavez Jr wants to walk out Pac he BEAT HIS DAD. Ofcourse Morales would want, THEY ARE FRIENDS. And finally .. THEY ARE ALL TOP RANK.. TOP RANK HATES GOLDEN BOY... I take the idiot comment back. That was out of line since you are right the sources are to blame.
All is well BRO... Good that you understand that these statements are not mine... Taking it back won't make you a lesser poster here... Peace BRO...

I want Pacquiao to win just cause he's my favorite fighter. But I really have a hard time seeing how Oscar will not win this one.

Anyway, who do you guys think the Russians, the Germans the English, the Australians, the Americans, oh hell why not, how about the Arabs are backing? This thread just got interesting...
Arabs are backing whoever is the most explosive.
    So manny.

    Lol

    Hahaha...most explosive!

Two mexicans speak for the whole mexican boxing fan population? Their egos need a little deflating.

The Chavez family is just bitter that Oscar kicked Sr.'s butt twice in the ring.

I wouldn't give any ounce of credibility to anything they say about this fight.

Me too. I'm gonna have fun with these Pac groupies.

Shame you weren't here after Marquez-Pac 2. Things got very heated on this forum, even worse than Hatton/Mayweather.

Uh, Jr said it back then too. As usual, he was just following daddy's lead.

And how do you get that it's true? Because two Mexicans who don't like Oscar said it was true?
Maybe but not publicly and not openly published in a boxing website like FightNews... Well, it's two well known Mexican boxers who said that then it must be true...

Seriously, I think it's not ALL Mexicans but MOST Mexican boxing fans are backing up Pacquiao...
    .
I don't think this is true. Even though Oscar doesn't fight like Mexicans typically like they love him still. Otherwise Oscar couldn't be the draw he is without a really significant win in like 6 years. And Pacquiao destroyed 2 of their biggest stars. Maybe they respect Pac because he fights like they like, but I doubt they'll boo Oscar.
    Oops

You're right, Mexicans respect PAC due to his Mexican warrior like style of fighting. Even if PAC defeated 3 of their biggest stars, he did it fair and square in a true Mexican style of fighting.

This what makes December 6 a more intriguing event. Will Hoya receive the loudest BOO of his life on that date? You better order the PPV now...

Mexicans respect PAC but they do not respect PACS fans who run around with that racial crap about being a Mexican killer

Pac vs Marquez II was the worst I've ever seen this forum! I rarely make rants but that surely got one out of me. It was a great fight and people instead decided to be sore winners and losers but infact should've just appreciated two top P4P fighters giving us another great fight. That fight had CRAZY hype and lived up to it. How many fights live up to their hype...not many...

Trainer Freddie Roach has boldly predicted that his star pupil, WBC lightweight champion and boxing’s No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter Manny Pacquiao will knock out Oscar De La Hoya when they meet on December 6, in a 12-round welterweight super fight. "I’m so confident in Pacquiao in this fight...we’re going to knock him out in nine rounds.," said Roach to FOX Sports. "He [Oscar] gets quite tired at normal paces. Pacquiao doesn’t fight at normal paces. We’re going to push the old man…I love this fight!" Other highlights of the interview include: "[Mexican fight fans] like fighters, not boxers. When the bell rings, the Mexican fans in the audience are going to be on Pacquiao’s side...The true Mexican fans love his [Pacquiao’s] style.....Oscar can’t really stand the pace of a Manny Pacquiao, fighting three minutes of every round, attacking him, putting the pressure on this guy, taking away his height and reach advantage by getting close and fighting on the inside and work that body where Oscar has been weak his whole career. And at this stage of Oscar’s career, he’s busted up. He’s starting to break up. His face in the Forbes fight, he was all banged up after that fight. He had a broken cheekbone…and this guy [Forbes] can’t even punch.....I found out through the media that I was no longer the trainer and that he brought Floyd Sr. back and it was a little disappointing because Oscar had told me, one time, he said, ‘I’ll never fight without you in my corner again.’ It bothered me that he couldn’t tell me face to face."

With so many people, including his own 'apparently' hating ODLH, it makes me wonder how he became the most popular man in boxing??

The man still draws, come on he can't be THAT hated

Bob Arum and JCC should be put on mute whenever the subject they speak of is ODLH.
