but if im honest i done my ankle and was back into trainign well to early, if i was you just go dont run skip or do jumping excercises at the moment try getting on a excercise bike or cross trainer for cardio
    One of those isn't it.

I've been itching to get back into training for about 4 weeks now.

    Now I'm 85% - I want to get back.

But I'll be seriously pissed if I do my ankle again through training too early.
When I was 12 I did my knee ligaments playing football. After ages doing rehab on it I couldnt wait to play again and lied to my PE teacher and sunday team manager that it was ok when I knew the muscle around the knee wasnt quite strong enough.

After a few games my knee went again and I had to start the whole process over again. Almost 2 seasons missed which is quite a long time for a lad who wanted to be a pro footballer.I was quite a good player when I came back but was never quite right. And the knee still stiffens up every now and again.

So the moral of the story is, dont do it !

Do you have physiotherapy available to you?

Here in Canada we do and often at no cost, and that would be a good way to both get back to it carefully, as well as have a trained medical person who might know better how ready you actually are.

Cheers for that. It wasn't really what I wanted to hear, but it's words of wisdom.

Yeah bro, build up the supporting muscles, but take your time with it. And when it gets too mad at you, know when to quit.
Its your body, but it talks to you all the time, learn to listen, or it will be yelling at you later

You can still be active in the meantime. The pool is great!
