I seen this awhile ago, and all of that has been coming out of the UK, nothing has been mentioned by Arum, or Cotto's camp regarding this.

I think it just might be Jennings people trying to get a foot in the door.

I think Berto will be out, because Lou DaBully doesn't want it to be for the title.

From what Bob Arum has been saying it's down to Cintron, Clottey, and Jesus Soto Karass.

I'd love to see Cotto - Clottey, Clottey's one of my favorite fighters. I think Cotto would win a convincing UD though.

I sent Michael a message before regarding this. I'm waiting a response from him.

Williams is fighting Verno Phillips for the WBO Interim Light-Middleweight title. The IBF never sanctioned the fight.

I'm sorry.. but Clottey beats the breaks off of Cotto.
He is FAR too big. FAR too durable. Margi couldn't hurt him no way cotto does.
Also, if people think Margi was too big for Cotto.. then this is even worse.
Anyone remember clottey weighing 170 on fight night against Chico? LOL.
Clottey is naturally about 10-20lbs heaviar than Margi is.

I would have loved to see Cotto/Cintron. Still a very dangerous fight for cotto who many have regarded as having a suspect chin during his career. Cintron has the heaviest hands in the division. He is the Edison Miranda of Welterweight.. in the since that he is the most powerful and his only losses have been against the Champion of the division.

This is a good come back fight for cotto.

Thats pretty much a carbon copy of what I been saying all along, Clottey is a big tough mofo that isint going to get broken down by Cotto, when he cant break you down his plan B is to go backward, as we saw from SSM which he boxed beautifully and peppered Shane, since Shane was running into Cotto's punches a at that point ,against Margarito he got torn to pieces.. Clottey would beat him up..

Miguel Cotto could wear down Joshua Clottey late though with body shots, remember Joshua Clottey has suspect stamina JT. Where as fighters like Shane Mosley, Antonio Margarito, have always had excellent stamina. And always finish strong late in fights.

I doubt it at this point, Cotto would have to eat counters to dig the body, and Cotto already sketchy chin probably has a huge dent in it, I have watched that fight over 10 times and you can see Margarito literally beat the fighter out of Cotto, its all over his body and all over his face. he quit!!! for whatever reason, family, health, self-preservation I dont blame him or fault him for it because there is a bigger picture.. He boxed beautifully dished out a world of hurting on Margarito, and I guess thats the irony of it all watching Cotto get his heart stolen and beaten to a pulp while seemingly cruising to a UD

I think Joshua Clottey is more one paced though JT, he doesn't really fight at a high pace and its always a workman like effort from him. I think he would very competitive with Miguel Cotto, Joshua Clottey is a good all rounder.

But i think the difference in the fight will be the body shots and Joshua Clottey's suspect stamina. Antonio Margairto gets stronger as the fight goes on and puts relentless pressure on, which is the total opposite with Joshua Clottey.

But i would like to see Joshua Clottey get a shot against a top Welterweight soon. Andre Berto vs Joshua Clottey is a mouth watering match up to me.
