Back boxing after 5 year

I asked because I wondered if maybe starting at such a young age you might have gotten bored of it. I could certainly understand that.

Here in Canada, santioned matches are not allowed until the age of 12. Our own gym does not allow kids under 11 to even join. I think it may have something to do with liability and such.

In any case, welcome to Saddos and it is good to see you back. A lot of people are coming to boxing lately, or in cases like yourself, back to boxing. Recently speaking to the people who run the Ontario Canada Amateur Boxing Association....they claim that enrollment has more then doubled in the last few years. This is good news for the sport that not so long ago people were fearing was dying off.

Hopefully it is happening in other areas of the world as well.

Yes i have noticed this as well in my gym there are so many kids the last while it makes me happy to see this even if they are never the best fighter at least they are off the streets not on drugs not drinking and smoking.
We do prizes for the little ones we give them new gloves and stuff to reward them becuse its hard for some of them who are not natural fighters but i makes them feel like we care about them when we go that little bit extra for them we have about 1oo kids under 15 at the moment.

sorry i havnt posted internets been off.Traiing went well, nothing like been thowing into the deep end lol, hard workout first back and i enjoyed it i didnt go back then when is aid lot of collag work on, Wen back yesterday (thur) 5mile run along beach on sunday im gutterd how unfit i am now but i should be up no time , need to get some decent sparing in and i think my medical card will need renewing as i think its been longer than 5 years
