Mosley should show respect, I don't like Margarito all that much, but he beat Cotto who beat Mosley, I know styles make fights, but the champion is the champion. Also it seems to me Margarito is pretty popular.

I dont think Mosley is being particularly disrespectful, he just wants to fight. I hope this fight does get made because I think it could be very good. Mosely might be slightly past his best, but he could still make it very interesting. Its a pick 'em with the edge going to Margarito on recent form.

Why should Mosley show some respect, it was Margarito who said that Shane was "pissing his pants about fighting him and that he would put Shane into perminant retirement" and now is nowwhere to be seen.

Dont get me wrong as much as Mosley is my favourite fighter I think Margarito may have too much for him at this stage in his career but I still think it will be a good fight.

Running scared...You sure your talking about Antonio Margarito?.....What is there to be scared of?...He just manhandled a guy that beat Mosley soundly....

The fight is signed.....Just a matter of waiting for the bell to ring and Mosley to get his ass handed to him....

I like Shane but he is past his best and not in the region of slugging with Tony right now

So it's not disrespectful to have agreed in principal to a fight and not show up to sign the contract or make a call to turn it down? I think Mosley's comments are warranted regardless of who he's beaten. Think of it this way: Mosley would have nothing to say if Margarito had called or signed. As popular as you may think Margarito is, Mosley is by far the more known fighter. Mosley could have made as much fighting a much lesser abled fighter who would have been glad to take a 20/80 split or something like that.
    Oops
