The problem I have with ring magazine is that they had Casa as ring champion conveniently when he was about to fight a golden boy fighter in Marquez. The problem with what your saying is if the ring judged on what you have just said ie what ever they felt over the actual result then they would be the same as the others and they could put who they liked as champ regardless of who actually wins
No system is perfect but fighters and fight fans alike respect the ring as the most honourable and non biased assocation out there

Exactly...That is why the title is so credible...it is not one that can be stripped, taken away due to BS politics..no mandatories,,,no sanctioning fees, or anything else that goes with it....

To be the champ you have to beat the champ...Bad decisions go on everyday....every organization....you can have munipulated rankings but the champion will always stay legit.....If we went on going by stuff like.."I thought so and so won the fight so IMO he is champ"...then guess what?....You just had the mindset of every bullshit ABC organization out there......

Because the Ring has set of rules to follow, and even though the judges blew that fight, the Ring still had to follow and abide by that decision, crap or not. Had Santa Cruz not gotten screwed THE FUCKING JUDGES NOT RING MAG, he would have been Ring Champ. It's that simple. The judges fucked up, not the ring. The belts don't matter. Sucks for Campbell, but that's the way it it. The ring needs to play by it's own rules.
