I generally go chicken with mushroom sauce. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Possibly mostly only other Aussies will understand what i mean by that.

I've travelled a little and i think pub meals in Australia if you eat the standard recipes they have in every pub and therefore can't stuff up can be the best value for money, decent sized, filling meal you'll get anywhere!

I'm suprised I haven't seen it elsewhere - i'm sure it must be but basically they get a chickbreast or a slab of beef, bash it with a mallet, crumb it and shallow fry it so you have a crispy but not soggy piece of real meat usually served with hot chips and a salad.

usually topped with some kind of sauce too. i usually go for mushroom, some poeple go a Diane gravy. A type with cheese and thinly sliced ham is popular.

Lots of choice and while it is not super slimming it's not really crap either - real food and not deep fried (except for the chips if you have them ).

In many a pub you can find it for $10 to $12 and be completely full and sometimes with a drink whereas you could easily be looking at $15 and upwards for a decent sized meal eating out before buying any drinks.

San Jose is great. San Jose is poppin, all the time and it's the one place I probably don't have to worry about getting shot at in the Bay Area. Found out an old friend of mine got shot in the stomach from a girl I work with (my blunt holder haha) in West Oakland by some dude who was just sprayin for no reason and he had killed hella people before he got killed last month. I was like daammnn dude I knew was caught up in that crazy shit. I haven't really talked to him since 8th grade so it's not like I knew him but when she started describing him it was just how he was.

Had to share that shit trips me out.

Don't worry I can understand you had purely intellectual reasons for attending the show! I had male strippers at my 21st birthday for the same reason I promise!

I'll accept the Schnitzel praise - I'm not into being overly obsessed about your own nationality but if I could be so corny as to say I'm proud of something Australian it would be the schnitty!
