Pat Cowdel vs Azuma Nelson was one of the finest ko's Ive seen..made better by the way Nelson has a look at Cowdel before stalking him then delivering the peach of a left upper cut..First big fight I ever went to too lol..

Daniel Ponce De Leon vs JML (Ponce gets iced)

Daniel Ponce De Leon vs. Sod Looknongyangtoy (Sod gets iced)

Louis Monoco gets iced by Butterbean--then Monoco just misses icing Buster Douglas at the end of the first, but Lou Saverese finishes the job on Buster.

That Monoco blast was UGLY and brutal.Didn't Buster fuss about it being after the bell??

How about Lionel Butler KO 1 Tony Tubbs?Think that was a 1st round, nasty hook.

Funny you should mention that i just watched that yesterday, Lionel Butler could punch although he never reached the world stage. What an upset that was though, considering Tony Tubbs had just took a prime Riddick Bowe to school not long before that.

Yes. Buster won because the blow was "after" the bell. But Butler's was at the bell and he got the ko win. Tubbs went to "Fat Man Dreamland" on that shot.

Say what you will about the Bean, but if he connected, it was lights out. Monoco gets iced on a regular basis, but he once iced McBride who stopped Tyson. Only in boxing!!

Instead of best one round fights, how about best one punch fights?

My favourite has got to be Eubank Santos, possibly a two punch fight but just love the pose after!

This was another shock aswell considering Pat Cowdell, had given Salvador Sanchez fits over 15 rounds.

It was a confirmation display for me that they should keep McGuigan away from this guy .. his physique was so solid and compact, economical with his punches as well as acurate and just seemed to punch holes through folks.. and as ya point out too Cowdel was no mug at all not by any standards..

Cant believe I found this old clip of SRL vs Danny Gonzalez ... this guy had done fifty odd fights and never been ko'd before this... although slightly off topic this is a great clip of a young SRL...

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=MYp5rdDMhKsAlso just remembered this Beauty from The Hitman Tommy Hearns too against the undefeated James Black Gold Shuler..

Geez.. This wasn't much of a fight. But yeah we all remember that one! I think Golatta will be feeling those body shots for a long time. Perfect execution. Now why did Brewster have to lay down like that for Klit a few months back? Why not show him these punches?

Brewster's post fight comments were very telling. He said something to the effect of wanting to have something left of himself for when he's with his kids. When his style of fighting is successful he sacrifices himself completely to get to the other guy. And if he can't commit to that then he might as well be home with his children.

I would have said this one, but it looks suspiciously like a laydown:
