Default I'm calling this right now.. Oscar Busted Up!

That's right you Mofo's.... Stoppage in round 11 because Oscar has cuts and bumps that would have any corner man in the world throwing in the towel...

I'm the only one daring enough to put such claims out there, but i'm going to stand behind this one until the end of the fight... Oscar being completely torn up and Beat Cotto v Margo style... Pac is going to be like a jackhammer and DLH the concrete

    Just wait and see...

And please no one tell me I know nothing about boxing, because i'm not exactly putting my house and car on this type of long shot...

But, if/when it happens, I want my dues...

I think the size difference will be too much, Manny Pacquiao maybe at 149 or whatever but thats his limit. ODLH is naturally way bigger than that and i expect him to be atleast 160 come fight night.

Manny Pacquiao will also have to fight on the backfoot, which takes away the momentum he gets into his shots while coming forward. I also think Manny Pacquiao will be slower, which in turn will make his power less effective. Because Manny Pacquiao relies on his speed to generate his power.

Plus if you have seen Manny Pacquiao sparring, notice how he has to overeach. All the time to hit the bigger sparring partners. Its almost ridiculous at times.

Also people keep saying about ODLH's stamina, but Manny Pacquiao won't be able to come forward against the much bigger man. And test those issues, i just can't see Manny Pacquiao's small frame standing up to those big left hooks of ODLH.

Steve Forbes, Floyd Mayweather Jr, were effective because there fast, slick, good defense. Manny Pacquiao maybe fast but he is no way slick or a good defensive fighter by any means. He hits and gets hit despite his bobbing and weaving, he's still very hittable. And i just can't picture Manny Pacquiao taking ODLH's big left hook.

PAC loves to eat those opponents who will always come forward...

And it's a BIG shame if Hoya will not be the aggressor...

In his recent interview during the media day, PAC is worried if Hoya will just jab jab jab and run run run ...

The great thing about boxing anything is possible.....i doubt pac wins but it's definatly possible. And you don't have to know everything about boxing to pick the underdog...hell the bigger the risk the bigger the reward. Stick with pick dizaster you'll be a boxing genius if you called it right.

Ok, i'm getting tired of you whining all the time. "Waaahh wahhhh I hate all flips and pac groupies!!! I can't stand you people!!!".

You want to bet ANYTHING? How about if Pac wins, you change your name and sigi to "Pac's #1 Groupie" in BIG BOLD LETTERS.

I'd love to see Manny beat him but I don't think he will. It depends on what Oscar's got left. He looked rubbish last time out.

Roach: Manny never better! Trainer Freddie Roach, made another bold prediction at his Hollywood-based Wild Card Boxing Club, where he is training five-division world champion and No. 1 Pound-for-Pound fighter Manny Pacquiao for his 12-round welterweight super fight against "The Golden Boy" Oscar De La Hoya.

"Oscar stated in his media conference call that training to fight Manny has put the fire back in his belly. If he thinks he has a fire in his belly now, wait until Manny starts landing right and left hooks there. Oscar's belly will be a raging inferno," Roach stated.

"I have never seen Manny look better. He is as close to a complete fighter as he has ever been. His speed, footwork and stamina are supreme. But it's his power that has surpassed anything I could have hoped for. Manny is ready to fight a full three minutes of every round for as many rounds this fight goes.

Oscar may look the part of a welterweight fighter by dieting down to a Twiggy 145 pounds, but that doesn't mean he can pull the trigger at his age and act the part of a welterweight fighter. Not against a Manny Pacquiao!"

But worryingly Roach also said Pac struggled in sparring with Amir Kahns jab .. and if he struggled at all with Kahns jab which is half decent .. then he will have a night mare with the bigger faster more experienced and better jab of ODLH...

i think he stopped jabbing because Mayweathers defense was fustrating Oscar so he just gave it up and tried to ko PBF which is not a good idea.

but Freddie Roach is TALKING OUT HIS ASS. i guess hes just tryin to hype the fight i guess.

De La Hoya's Foolish Weight Loss

Whereas Margarito has made a foolish strategic decision outside the ring, De La Hoya has made one in it. I can't fathom why De La Hoya would think it was wise to boil down to 145 lbs. against an opponent who is jumping up in weight. Manny Pacquiao, his Dec. 6 dance partner, debuted at 135 this summer and currently weights more than De La Hoya at 152. That means that even if De La Hoya's weight comes up some, he's almost surely going to weigh less than Pacquiao come fight night.

One of De La Hoya's chief advantages over Pacquiao -- I would say his #1 advantage -- was size. On age, Pacquiao has him beat. On speed, Pacquiao has him beat. On stamina, Pacquiao has him beat. On technique, De La Hoya probably has a leg up, especially on defense. But his real weapon was that he'd be bigger. No one knows if Pacquiao can take a punch from a 147-pounder, let alone a man who could rehydrate overnight to the vicinity of 160. No one knows what kind of power Pacquiao will have at 147, but viable, unbiased reports out of his camp are that his power looks fantastic, so that secondary size question was already heading to null and void.

Once upon a time, earlier this year, in fact, I thought De La Hoya-Pacquiao was a total joke. Pacquiao is one of the reasons it isn't any longer, because his lightweight debut was extremely convincing, making the idea of a 147-pound Pacquiao seem less far-fetched. Now, though, it just got even more viable because De La Hoya has given away the biggest weapon he had, which is that he's just a larger man -- and while he may be taller, that wasn't the main edge he had in being bigger. And why? There's been no good explanation. He can't possibly think he will be faster than Pacquiao as a result. I'm not saying yet that De La Hoya WILL lose as a result of this weight loss, but if he does, I wouldn't be surprised if this is the main reason.

I think this is a stupid matchup and typical of late period DLH.

I hope Manny smashes Oscars stupid Jokeresque face in, but Pac has it all to do. I will watch it because its on tv free where I am.

I could never imagine paying to watch this farce.
