Mad, awkward maybe, but slick and speedy.......
The compubox analysis on boxingscene (i think) came up with the idea that Maussa was a slick speedy fighter. Fuck knows why because he clearly isn't.

Plus i'm pretty sure Paulie isn't even on Collazo's level. Hatton couldn't land jabs against Collazo and continually walked into shots. Can't see that happening against Paulie. I believe he is much easier to hit and he isn't a stronger southpaw.

The only thing that winds me up with Hatton is his insistence on referring to himself in the 3rd tense.
Yep, the habitual use of the third person tense is quite peculiar.

He should at least be consistent with it.

One minute it's 'Ricky Hatton' the next it's 'I'....in the same sentence.

I've heard all his jokes about 9 or 10 times over aswell. It's getting as painful as the old Peter Kay stuff people used to come out with all the time. Like people would come up and hit you with a Peter Kay joke presuming you hadn't ever heard of him....but you had.....and you just wanted to throw them off a cliff.......but you didn't.....you politely laughed at them and said 'yeah it's good that one'

    Anyway....apart from that....GO RICKY

There is just something about him. Whenever he speaks he just comes across to me as so fabricated and cliched. I think a decade ago he was a serious and hungry young fighter. But these days its obviously only about the money. Forbes was a poor choice of opponent and now fighting Pac in a weight class way beyond what he should be fighting. And if he wins this then a possible fight with Ricky. Another smaller guy.

And he will talk this rubbish about having the desire back in his belly?! Well, if you are so hungry fight at WW against any of a number of very credible opponents then. Oscar IMO is a phony who wears a suit better than boxing shorts these days.

Others might disagree with my perceptions and perhaps Ive got him all wrong. But I find it hard to listen to him without a grimace and a shake of the head.
