What does having Lennox in my sig have to do with anything?......Lennox is an ATG...One of the top 5 HWTS ever.....But Lennox is not here is he?....

Nope just checked boxrec and nothing schedualed...Nothing on his website about a possible return.....

Get with it man...we have to deal with what we have...out of our current choices Wlad is the one...Vitaly has just returned and IMO the better fighter hands down but again he has just returned and I will wait to see if he really plans to stay around before getting too excited.....

Wlad can be a bit boring at times but he is improving...He is only 32...Lennox did not reach his max potential until he was 33-34....He has his good points about him....There have been worse

If Wlad is 'it' I don't want to get with it I'd rather stay in the past.

I can understand what your saying and I can understand how you feel...The guy is lacking in excitement....But when he does perform up to standars he excels....

If Wlad regained just a bit more self confidence he would be exciting all the time

I find it amusing that the Lennox Lewis supporters hate Wlad when they are basically similar styles of fighters. If Lewis is Ali then Wlad is Larry Holmes.....Wlad is the Rodney Dangerfield of heavyweight fighters, he gets no respect.

I think I may be the only guy here who has anything positive to say about Wlad and I am the biggest Lewis fan on this site hands down.....

Don't know where you got Lewis is Ali?.....

Don't know where you think Lewis and Wlad are similar?...explain that one..

    OK allow me to explain

#1: Manny Steward, trainer of both fighters

#2 Lennox Lewis was also considered EXTREMELY boring (only by the Tyson fans).

#3 I compared Lewis to Ali and Wlad to Holmes because Ali and Holmes had quasi-similar styles (as do Lewis and Wlad) and Ali overshaddowed Holmes' whole career and it seems as though Lewis will do the same to Wlad.

I think Wladimir can still be an all-time great fighter he's 31/32 and can prove a lot before he retires, he's already won 51 fights, 45 by KO he has fought enough people to where you know he has the skill to be great, sure he has been KO'd 3 times but hell there have been other greats who have been KO'd more times than that and it's not held against them.

I am of the opinion that "You don't know what you have until it's gone" and if Wlad retired tomorrow the heavyweight division (even WITH Vitali) would be in a bigger state of suck.

OK got ya now...Thought you were saying that people have compared Lewis to Ali and if that is the case then Wlad is another Larry Holmes....Was confused thinking "I never heard anyone compare Lewis to Ali"....I mis-understood...my mistake...

Agreed on all of it now that I understand it....

Yes we would realize what we had in Wlad if he left tommorow...Just like those who did not appreciate Lewis until he retired...Wlad has rime to become the whole package...Like I stated in another post...Lewis did not reach peak until 33 or so and Wlad is still gettin better so I also agree on that.....the 3 KO's on Wlads record are not a disaster...I don't understand why people only focus on the negative abot him....Guess some are never satisfied

The only thing between him and Lewis (As for the boring part which seems as though that was the biggest complaint on Lennox)..Is Lewis had a killer instinct and he was a great finisher...Had a KO% of over 70....and contrary to the non fans he had a solid chin...a vid on youtube shows some shots he absorbed in various bouts and they were thunderous.....
