If any fight should've gotten stopped, it should've been the Kirkland vs Vera fight. It was stopped before the distance but it should've been stopped WAY EARLIER than that!

I thought Malignaggi would fight his heart out like he did Cotto, he convinced me he was going to go all out and pressure Hatton so I am disappointed with his performance. He had no excuses though and praised Hatton and I agree with him that he is too good for a stoppage like that.

Ricky fought a good fight and I saw some slight improvements, mostly in the pace he fought, he wasted no energy and tried to make every punch count.

All I can say is I hope Manny beats Oscar. Ricky loses VS Oscar and a Manny Ricky fight would be much better to watch.

    Well done Ricky

Totally agree with that. He was getting hit hard a lot. That's dangerous territory right there.

Hatton was impressive. I'm beginning to think that his fight with Pacquaio would be very exciting. I'm a little afraid for my boy Pacman.

You should worry about the orange coloured middle aged man first!!

Sorry, I mean the "Golden Boy".

I hope Pac produces a surprise. I really do.

So do I, without taking too much punishment. Pacman VS Hitman will be a better fight, more even fight and a more significant fight.

If PAC does beat DLH, then he should stay at welterweight, cause we all know Hatton isn't that good at welterweight. (yah right)

Paulie didn't fight to win...he didn't box, he didn't move, he stood there and took punch after punch....fucking wop (no offense to you Italians... I use the term in jest).

Ricky crawled back to 140 because it's the only place he can win
Didn't see it that way. I thought Paullie won the first, but realised he couldn't handle Hatton's power from that shot in the second.

It wasn't that he didn't fight to win, it was that he couldn't win, hence the spoiling tactics. Hatton has serious power from the lefts he throws. Paullie didn't know what happened - he'd gone. Hatton did a good job on him.

To me a boxer that doesn't fight to win, spoils from the start.

Anyway, great performance by Hatton. Questions have been answered in the best way possible.
