    Not.

It was a bit of a masterclass tbh. He started out a bit slow, but found his range quickly. He fought mostly on the outside and made Paulie look very very poor, which he is not.

His jab was nice when he used it and there was plenty of head movement which has beeen missing of late. Paulie really struggled to find a target, mostly because Hatton was pretty elusive and beating him to the punch frequently.

I think it was a subtle improvement on what he has done in the previous two years, but at that level, it makes a huge difference. I'm just exceited at the possibility of a Pacquaio fight next year.

Every single word of what you have said in this is spot-on mate!!!I totally agree with the fact that Hatton has improved jab and head movement too.Hatton jab was great!!To think hatton won the fight with a really comfortable margin without unloading hardly any trademark body shots say it all.If it was'nt for Paulie holding up close i think Hatton could have took him out if he was unleashed.Well done Hatton!!!Nice improvement!

Your spot-on that we want to see Hatton fight Pacman too mate! That would be ASEWOME!

ricky looked good i think the reason why he didnt slip etc too much was because he didnt have to as he was walking through paulies shots

    Cheers guys and girls

tells me what i was after... Hatton with Floyds help worked better against this type of opponent.

still has me thinking if the mauling version of Hatton would has done a quicker job?

would hate to see Hatton Vs Pac if i'm totally honest but then i was never that keen on watching some big guy beating up on some little guy in the pub.

but saying that the only way i see Pac beating ODLH is if the promoter turns up rather than the fighter

Hatton looked good. Much better than the past few years, and his best boxing since the first six rounds against Urango. Paulie was looking to hold at every opportunity. A stricter ref would have taken away points and Hatton would have had him out of there.

I was impressed, especially as I did have my reservations before this bout.

His footwork was as good as ever, and he was using the jab which he has almost forgotton about in recent times.

Im hopeful that this is the start of good partnership with Floyd senior and Ricky takes on and wins a few big money fights. I dont want him anywhere near DLH at 147 though because its unfair and Ricky should have learned from the Mayweather debacle.

But money talks so we shall see.

I really enjoyed his performance, not even close.

Ricky physically is not what he was.
He's not quite as explosive as he was and does not appear to be a straight knockout puncher at eite level.

However he did provide us with an adequate replacement. He improved his fitness, fought with a bounce in his step for 12 rounds and threw volume. As Merchant commented, his "dynism" had returned. Mentally he seemed to be in a good place, attacking with less abandon and showing calculated movement.

icky looks good moving toward a Pac fight

Hatton is not shot at this time.

However, given his lifestyle in between fights, he figures to lose it sooner rather than later. You can only boil yourself down in weight so many times. Just ask Erik Morales.

    Malignaggi got robbed

Seriously though, Hatton turned back the clock. It seems the Mayweather Sr. has shown Ricky how to be a little more efficient with his style. I thought it was a very impressive performance from Ricky. I Paulie would have given more effort, Hatton would have looked even better. PM went from hair extensions to doing impressions, unfortunately this time he did Ruiz.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
