He said it himself "NO ONE KNOCKS OUT JAMES TONY"
I have to agree with you. I used to think that it was Mayorga, the only time he had been knocked down or out was against Trinidad and he had to recieve alot of punishment for that to happen, he even stuck out his chin to let other fighters know that they could not hurt him, but after the De La Hoya fight you can see he is a shot fighter and that his chin or power are not what they used to be after Trinidad. James Toney I have never seen hurt, there was a flash Knockdown vs Roy Jones and I believe Montell Griffin but he was not hurt either time. And even know fighting as a blown up light heavyweight fighting at heavyweight he still has not been seriously hurt. If you paint his head and put a face mask in front of his face you would think he had on a helmet.

I just got through seeing the 1st Gatti-Mickey Ward fight downloaded off the internet, an all-time great if there ever was one, and took note of Ward's chin. The man can take a huge shot and not even stop coming forward. He was never knocked out during his career, only stopped once on cuts. I wonder if he was ever even knocked down.

Ward is a favorite of mine along with Glencoffe Johnson. I like warrior types willing to fight anybody, even if they're not the best in the world.

Marvin Hagler - never knocked off his feet in his entire career.

There is no way the Hamsho slip was a knockdown !!!!!

Gatti put him down in the second fight. Ward basically just walked onto an absolute peach of a punch and collapsed into the ropes. He got back up though, as you'd expect.

I have to agree though, at times Ward soaked up punishment very few could withstand.
