Exactly Oscar doesnt even need to train hard to kick pacmans butt lets be honest...Oscar has faced scarier harder more dangerous fighters then pacman and he never been phased or scared of them...why would he have to be scared of pacman.

Vargas hits hard and he hit oscar flush and was on ROIDS! he was hitting oscar hard with many punches in the early rounds of the delahoya fight and oscar took those like a warrior.

The thing with oscar is he might be a pretty boy but when he gets hit it makes him angry and he wants to take your head off he enjoys it.

Who said Oscar is scared of the PACMAN?

You become so predictable... Posting ridiculous statements lately... I haven't heard one person saying Oscar is scared of Pacquiao...

who said Oscar was scared? no one...I am simply saying Why WOULD HE BE SCARED OF PACMAN? or even feel he is a threat when he faced better, bigger and stronger fighters then him? he doesnt need to train to beat him

Its a shame they handled pacamn this way his advisers are gonna ruin him and his legacy because of biting off more then he can chew.
You must be kidding me with that statement! He's already a sure shot into the hall of fame and you say by losing to Oscar and Floyd would turn him into the same status of fighter as Mayorga and Judah?

I get it, you don't think Pac will win, and yes, Saddoboxer is playing on your last nerve (wouldn't be the first person) but that statement is just out of this world!

But Pac won't beat Oscar. Pac gets pummeled by Oscar which rules Mayweather out.

Mayweather is eyeing up Hatton IMO.

Oh come on Spicoli if Manny Pacquiao beat Oscar Dela Hoya, then there would be no weight excuse and it would be a great match up. Two of the best P4P fighters fighting eachother hasn't happened since Pernell Whitaker vs Julio Cesar Chavez. Im rooting for Manny Pacquiao just so it can happen.

Sorry bro, maybe its an umpopular opine but I'd much rather see Pac taking care of Campbell,JMM as opposed to some hyped up status name fight made to feed the cash cows at the network and ego's of a few.And Imo,that is exactly what this is.Many, many credible and deserving contenders and fellow champs are going by the wayside because we....me as well at times...eat this manufactured stuff up.I like the best fighters in respected divisions to fight and produce one left standing.

Even if he does lose he can still go back down, from what it sounds like they didnt' need to change a whole lot physically for him going up to welterweight, he will likely go back down to lightweight or 140 to face Hatton, if Mayweather doesn't come back.

Jones had to lose like 30lbs to get back to lightheavy. Pac isn't going straight to 135, at least I hope not. He would only have to lose 7 pounds to get to junior welter, than another 5 in his next fight to get back to lightweight.

    LMFAO!!! That cracked me up.

Come to think of it. This is a good match up.

    Pacquiao's title quest
112 vs. Chatchai Sasakul- Lineal Champion
    122 vs. Ledwaba- Title holder
    126 vs. Barrera- Lineal Champion
    130 vs. JMM- Lineal Champion
135 vs. DD - Title holder

    Floyd's
    130 vs. Genaro Hernandez- Lineal
    135- Castillo- Lineal
    140 vs. Gatti- title holder
    147 vs. Baldomir- Lineal
    154 vs. DLH- Title holder

The big difference in their resume is pacquiao fought the best lineal champions. Baldomir and Castillo is no match for jmm and mab
His biggest win was against DLH who was at time with the belt rank #5 on the ring magazine on sw.

Pac has put on an extra 20.5% in weight from 112, where he won his first title (He actually started at 106).

Mayweather put on 18.4% in weight from 130, where he won his first title.

Pacman is naturally smaller, and heas a smaller frame to pack this kind of increase on.

What Pac has done is more impressive, even if it was against inferior opposition.

Manny would be the huge underdog against "Money", but it should be another mega event for both guys.

Let's not get carried away, an OLD Casamayor was doing very well against JMM, and just from how JMM fights, the version of Castillo that fought Mayweather would eat him alive. Are you forgetting who Castillo was? Both him and Corrales WERE the best lightweights since Mosley left the division.

i think Mayweather would take this fight cus it seems like it would be an easy payday because of his style. And i actually do think pac has a small chance against oscar depending on which the golden boy shows up. If the one who beat forbes shows up i think pac has a bit of a chance because oscar seemed to take a lot of shots in that fight and pac is a way harder hitter then 2 pounds
