Don't get me wrong, I can't stand Mayorga or the way he fights, but Shane was not on point that night. I found myself having to give rounds to him because I like him & I wanted him to win, and even then going into the final round I had him needing two knockdowns to bring the fight level.

Don't get me wrong that final round was incredible, but aside from one of the middle rounds (I think it was the 5th or 6th although I stand to be corrected), I didn't think Shane dominated a round like he's capable of. The ending was fantastic & I loved it at the time, but the fact one judge had Mosley up by 5 points just took the shine off me & left a bit of a bitter taste. Not to take anything away from Mosley, it was a mammoth final round, but it seemed that way because it was like he knew he had to knock him out, which he did

Imagine what Margo would do to Mayorga---

I think Mosley was fighting to get the spectacular KO.Just loading up and getting macho with him. Also might of been trying to put a shine on the pending talks with Margarito.I'm honestly not sure how much of that once tremendous hand speed and footwork he can still muster.I can appreciate Mayorgas all out swing for the fences fire but Imo...his all out physicality with the head, elbows and such that night was almost as much to deal with his hands. No doubt,A devastating Ko

Well it depends on the criteria.

I mean the best result, ie in ko'ing a top fighter has to go to Margarito over cotto, a sensational result.

But as for the best Ko surely hands down it has to be Kendall Holt over Ricardo Torres.

That was one of the sickest Ko's I've ever seen, and totally unique too.

That right/whiplash headbutt shot was pretty brutal. Wasn't a "clean" k.o. IMO.

A nice head butt followed by a right. I'd say that was round of the year.

Miranda KO Banks was the most dangerous IMO. He knocked him out cold straight through the ropes.

Prescott KO Khan was most shocking. A prospect like Khan getting blasted in SECONDS!

Mosley KO Mayorga up there are well because it was last second.

Margarito KO Cotto can be mentioned as well because it was the knockout that meant the most to boxing this year.

I would have to go with Miranda knocking out Banks. It was just a knockout I could watch over and over again.

Prescott over Khan was a little unexpected but I was not shocked. I predicted a KO by Prescott but not that fast.

I was shocked more with Margarito vs Cotto. JMM vs the El Cepillo was also unexpected.

I second that. It was a devastating KO. What is even better is that they are gonna go at it again in less that two weeks
